If you don't like slice-of-life romance so you would not love this because the storyline is flat and has a slow pace. But if you're into meaningful, carefully-made and full of metaphors stories then this is for you. I love every scene, every moment and dialogue in this. It'd been long time since I could find a romance drama that I love.

I am at ep 4 and I can't understand. If they like eachother why can't they be together? I must have missed something,…
Ren character was described to be very nice, or maybe too nice, he's such a lonely guy and he just can'l leave Kiho-chan - who was a lonely, lost woman - alone. He sympathized with her, liked her and wanted to protect her but not loved her as he loved Oto-chan. I think what he did was very understandable, and that's one of Sakamoto's points in most of his dramas: people have to live while considering their responsibilities. Even though they loved each other, even though it's hurt, they couldn't just walk away by their own selfishness. And all of those even hurt more, especially Kiho-chan. People are full of flaws and that's why I love this drama despite many others saying it too boring and plain.

so far this is a great drama but sometimes I am annoyed by the lead actress, she is just an air-head who puts herself in dangerous situations. But she's cute so I can forgive haha. I like Gou-san and watch this just because of him but it turns out that the plot and cinematography are so good too ^^

I've never seen anything like this in either Western or Eastern tv/film. The filming/direction itself is artistic,…
Haha I love your comment!

Guessing: Kara is not the real one, that is her friend who killed the real Kara and then did the cosmetic surgery to become Kara. I don't know but maybe she did that to obtain Kara's beauty.

I feel so sorry for Satomi, at least Ai and Rena still believe him, I really like those two. Damn Kara is one…
I kind of understand why Satomi did not tell Yuki. He did not have any evidence and the more importance is Yuki once told him that she had enough his theory, and he could not solve the case by reasoning. Satomi had his own fault and so did Yuki, and that we saw how flawed human being is! But at the end of ep 6 the drama turned to another stage and I just can't wait...lol

Is there anybody who thinks that Chibideka's face is just look like Sakurai Sho, especially his mouth. I can't help but think about Sho in every Hayami's scene ^^

Yes, I'm annoyed with the fact that Satomi is always so lonely in everything he does, and the others are just so blind although they are polices. At this moment, Satomi could not tell Yuki anything since she would not understand. If he could, he should do it from the beginning, but now... Feel so sorry for the two... And, I agree with you, Team Satomi has become my fav characters after Satomi :)

Just finished rewatching this, still feel heart-broken at the end, love Ohno-kun in this but a little disappointed that after this drama, he hasn't been doing anything similar. Ohchan, we all want Naruse-sensei back!!!

This one has a lot of commun with Byakuyakou, but is more tender and heartwarming. The people, who all want to see a new kind of world, have lived straightforward and bravely in their own way, even thought they all had made mistake. Sugihara Nozomi is such a lucky girl at the end. She has experienced an up-down life but has many people who were there for her, and played an important parts in her life. Love all the characters!

A very realistic drama, how beautiful and elegant acting of Eita and Mitsushima Hikari is, a really a must-watch!!!
The ending made me cry like a baby, yes, I cried because it was so beautiful!

After reading all these comments here, I'm very surprised that not many people do like this drama. To me, this drama is not only a romance story or 'love triangle story', if you expect that kind of drama, then this one is not for you. This drama is about a 30 year-old woman who is in her first love, and considers a lot of social issues connecting to this, such as marriage, living together before marriage, age distance, generation difference and family perspective... Rather develop a can-see-everywhere love triangle story, this drama brings to light all the emotion of a person who never experience love, is now in love. In fact, the percentage of unmarried women in Japan has been increasing so that this drama (like a lot of others, such as Kekkon Shinai...) is all about the good and unexpected things about love and marriage. I think that this one is not for teenagers or young adults, but >25 year-old people or the ones who still can't find love will enjoy this!
