I would encourage you to readup on the Chinese censorship, there's a helpful post on reddit where I got my knowledge from. The way it stands is the only way these cbls and cgls are being released is that they're largely filmed outside China (atleast not in public spaces) and not aired or available on Chinese mainland platforms.

The censorship is absolutely at fault and the reason why Chinese lgbt market isn't as vast as the thai market but they've produced a lot of good stuff. The companies for Desire and YunYi particularly have protected the actors well. In fact I believe they can even have safely another bl project in the future

It works well as a series in itself as in there's a calming send off and hea without feeling the need for a second season in terms of them as a couple. As for the plot, this chapter of the story has been concluded and it will be a new chapter in the second season

And the villains? I could watch this show only for the villains. I still think the best of them was Madam Yao, the way she caught Aim's lie really shows how good she was at this. Joe is such a manipulative psycho, his actions towards his Songmin really made my skin crawl

Then we have class A psycho Aim, who licks bloody fingers. The actor was having pain fun with his role. Jun Ho is great too, his journey from hesitating after killing we know who and his yearning to be claimed as a true son. And then there's Jihoon, the one who was pulling the strings all along

I could watch this one simply for the depiction of the underworld

They didn't even meet until ep 3! The romance was brilliantly handled in this, they were somehow with each other even when they weren't, it's hard to explain

Yes, the actors are signed under a company and that and Mirrorlink media are the ones involved in production. I expect the other eps will be aired on the same channel
