The actors are at their best and yet the scenes don't work because of weird music choices, the cheap sets, the random outfits.. Gorya and Primary are constantly in outfits that look like art scraps sewed together and not in an artistic way

Everything feels so low as if I've stepped into the bl shows back in 2020 with all the weirdness.

Bawled my eyes out in the entire back to school sequence, something about them is so open, honest and raw that I felt it back in ep 1 during the mirror technique thing (and subsequently cried just a little). Theirs feels like a story cut through the middle and it heals every time they're together

I was surprised by the critique for Namphing? Like he acted the shit out of the crying scenes and the one after he blew the powder over Pharan–that scene hit me to the guy. He carried his scenes well

And the criticism is one sided? The same points can be raised for Keng Harit and the actors of the second couple as well.

Same for kisses, people are always kissing in western shows xD and any non-asian person would expect them to kiss after the proposal, but culturally it's very much looked down upon to kiss or even bring up these things in public or in front of family

Just to provide a possible explanation for this, i myself am from India and culturally we're similar to Thailand. The LGBT scenario might've changed in thailand now with all these series and approval of lgbt marriage but as a culture we are closeted. I myself don't use the word gay or lesbian with my parents, not even when I came out to my mother, though she's perfectly understanding and supportive.

It's just an Asian thing i think to not use the words, particularly because it's just another English word which is not in common use, was never part of the language and our parents wouldn't understand. We do have Hindi words for it and I'm sure the Thai do too because Pali is a old a language as Sanskrit and has similar roots–but we don't use those words either. For me if i have to come out to anyone,I just say I like women or etcetra

Namping who plays Khem is atleast better than a mid actor. Even after seeing him in ep 6 after that backfired spell incident it's weird to call him mid, particularly in comparison to other actors in Thai bl. He has room for improvement as does everyone and I'm really excited to see his delivery in future projects!

I also watched it a few days ago and I can't imagine having to wait a week after those episodes. Some were almost cruel cliffhangers xD

And Jet my god– these two are the real soulmates. Neither of them had much of an idea of the magnitude of the curse of the power of their enemy towards the beginning . But Jet rising to every occassion and Khem trying to keep away and protect him was 👏👏👏👏
I hope that when the special eps gets here it gives us an insight into their friendship and Jet's relationship with Charn

In ep 6 pr 7 after the powder and spell thing.. the hurt was almost visceral when Khem wondered aloud if he had forced Pharan on all those occasions. Felt that one in my bones (and then Pharan being even more of an ah, like man give it a break 🤡)
