And let's not forget the car crash scene—a man and a woman were watching the car. Plus, the doctor's nervous reaction when Kamin asked to transfer Fai's body to the main hospital is a huge red flag.
I'm calling it: Champ's dad is involved. What if he's the father of the baby? And if Champ, Cherreen, and Bell really did force Fai to get an abortion, there are a few ways this could have gone down:
A. If Champ's dad is the father:
Okay, it makes sense for Champ to cover for his dad, but wouldn't he be furious? And how did he just go on with his life, dating Fai and dealing with his dad like nothing happened? Even if he somehow made peace with it, Fai definitely wouldn't have! So why did she stay with Champ even after knowing he was cheating with her so-called best friend, Cherreen?
And why would Cherreen and Bell help Champ cover up for his dad? I get that Cherreen might be doing it for her own gain, but Bell? Maybe Champ has some dirt on Bell and is blackmailing her. Seriously, what would make them get involved in something like this? I bet Cherreen was the one who lured Fai in.
Also, what kind of power does Cherreen have that she can just get rid of a whole hospital on Champ's orders? The only logical explanation is that the hospital is connected to his dad somehow.
B. If Champ is the father:
I doubt this is it. If he were the dad, Fai wouldn't have been so scared when she found out she was pregnant. She couldn't even tell her own mom, who just assumed it was Champ's because they were dating.
My theory: Fai was raped by Champ's dad, but she kept it from Champ (she was probably threatened). She stayed with him until she found out she was pregnant and maybe finally told him. Since he's a cheater who doesn't want a scandal for his powerful dad, he couldn't care less about her or her wanting to keep the baby.
Or, maybe Champ IS the father, but he didn't want the baby. Fai might have threatened to expose some secret about him or his dad, plus she already knew he was cheating. So he decided to get rid of her and the baby with Cherreen and Bell's help.
Was it Cherreen's idea all along? And Champ went with it to avoid a scandal that could ruin his dad's election? Or is Cherreen just a terrible person who wanted Champ all to herself?
About that one-night stand between Jay and Fai, I think Jay always had a crush on her but stayed in the friend zone. Fai probably knew her boyfriend was cheating with her best friend, so she decided to get even and sleep with Jay (I think she saw Champ and Cherreen holding hands and going into a room).
And Time knew everything. He knew about the cheating and Jay's crush, which is why he bugged the rooms with cameras. I think I remember him watching Champ drag Cherreen away, and he also saw Jay helping Fai. We all know he used that footage for blackmail. Maybe that's why Fai was so on edge? Could the video show who the real father is? What if she slept with someone else, and Time caught it on camera? The guy sells videos for cash; imagine the payday on a huge scandal like that.
Another thing, that hospital belongs to the corrupt ex-inspector. Maybe he's connected to the deputy? That would explain why the three of them were so confident when they took Fai for the abortion. And what if the ex-inspector is the father? I don't know why, but I feel like he's connected to Kamin somehow. Kamin just showing up is suspicious on its own! He's supposed to go back to America after this case is solved, which I found weird from the start.
Phut, the forensic doctor. He's super sketchy! I think he's a suspect. Remember when they found that substance in the bodies, and Kamin asked him if it was in Fai's body, and he was like, "I don't remember"? How do you not remember something that weird? And when he said the caller was a woman, not a man? The whole thing is suspicious. At first, I bought it, but with all of Cherreen's lies, that call is a huge question mark. Didn't Cherreen think the cops would check the call log? She said it was Tar, but the receptionist would have said it was a woman. Also, what was the point of that whole lie about the sleeping pills and her "deal" with Fai? Maybe Phut is in on it.
Here's a thought: what if Phut used to work at that hospital? That would mean he knows everything and decided to get revenge. I know this sounds crazy, but... what if HE'S the baby's father?
Last question: Why did Champ and Cherreen keep quiet about getting the messages? And why did Champ push Cherreen so hard to confess what happened with Fai, and then record the call and give it to the cops? It looks like he's trying to save his own skin, but his whole cautious vibe and recording the call is very Time-like. Except Time does it for money, and Champ does it to look innocent—which he obviously isn't. He looked so guilty right before he handed over the flash drive.
And isn't it weird that Jay is the only one who didn't get a message? Or did he, and they just didn't show us? Also, Champ and Cherreen visiting him wasn't to see if he was okay; it was to get intel and find out if he'd gotten a message. Remember, it was Champ's idea to go to the hospital, and he was really pushy about it!
Basically, I just want to know why Kamin really came to Thailand and why this specific case was given to him.
OMG! Every time I come up with a theory, something new pops up and proves it wrong, and I'm back at square one. I have so many suspects, but no real proof!
And what really drives me crazy is the editing! The cuts at the end of every episode are so jarring and terrible. Seriously, what was that awful cut at the end of episode 7? It's really ruining the show for me. I tried to ignore it, but it's just getting worse, especially after this week's episode... my god.
The series had so much promise! I was looking forward to more twists and consecutive shocks that would blow our minds as we figured out how and why things ended up this way. But unfortunately, the ending was a disappointment and completely ran the show into the ground. I mean, what kind of ridiculous ending was that? It turned the series into a teen university drama! This genre usually has a somewhat tragic ending, and even the survivors are left with scars from what happened! Oh my God... I still can't process what I just saw.
To be honest, the show was at its peak in the beginning, and the episodes were moving at a wonderful, breathtaking pace. But the moment Bom was revealed, the plot started to decline, and we already knew everything! We didn't need to use our brains to solve any mysteries! It's frustrating what the series became after such a strong and very promising start.
I wanted to post my previous comments about the characters, but decided to wait for the finale in case something changed. However, the opinions I formed about the characters only became stronger as the story progressed.
For me, I find Thup to be an incredibly unlikable character. He's twenty-five years old but acts like he's fifteen! And if they thought that was cute, it's far from it! The character was supposed to play a pivotal, essential role and bring about a major shift in the events, given that he sees ghosts and because of his family history, but unfortunately, the character wasn't fleshed out properly. I found his focus on his romantic relationship to be far greater than on the case he was supposed to be helping the investigation team with! In general, the creators focused on the romance scenes at times when they needed to focus on more "important" aspects of the case. In the end, the show isn't primarily a romance—that's supposed to be a secondary element—but it was emphasized to a ridiculous degree.
Pooh, the actor, is a terrible performer. I thought his acting had improved since his last two-season series, but he's still the same; he hasn't gotten any better, and his facial expressions are a disaster! In several scenes, the situation was one thing, and his expression was something else entirely, completely unfitting for the moment!! And the vacant look he gave Pavel was catastrophic. Re-watch the scene where Singha visits his mother at the temple. Throughout the entire time he was talking to his mother, Thup was just staring blankly at him and didn't even look at his mother! Even when Singha was introducing them to each other, he just kept staring blankly. He should have been shifting his gaze between the two! It's a basic instinct for a person to look back and forth between two people, not stare at one person like an idiot! Also, his screaming scenes whenever a ghost appeared—he screamed as if he were seeing a ghost for the first time, not like someone who is used to it. In short, his acting and expressions were not realistic or natural. His relationship with Singha was rushed, and their attraction to each other didn't make sense. I mean... at first, he took him home so the same incident from two years ago wouldn't happen again, and then he was reminded of his sister, who saw ghosts and whom he didn't believe at the time, so he feared the same tragedy would repeat... Thup was the one who made the move—he practically threw himself at him—and because of that, Singha developed a crush on him and then fell in love???
What was impressive was Michael and TopTen; their performances have improved! I don't know if they were always this good and their previous work just did them a disservice, or if they've genuinely gotten better. But their acting was definitely good. Although they were secondary roles, they played a fundamental part in the story. Their continuous investigation and tracking of clues led them to things that helped them reach the relevant parties. I wanted to know more about their story, their past relationship, and their breakup... but of course, no attention was paid to them. I hope to see them in a lead role soon and hopefully in different kinds of characters.
As for Otto "King," I was dying to see more scenes of him and learn more about his character than what was shown. The past he shared with Singha... Sadly, it ended. I liked their relationship, and they were a good match. It broke my heart when the reason for their breakup was the incident, caused by the pressure from King's father to solve the case, which led to the death of an innocent suspect. Although I found his death a bit exaggerated... I mean, he committed suicide just because he was accused of the crime? If he had ended his life after a long period of trying to clear his name, it would have been more believable. I wanted to know more about what happened in those two years, especially after King said he did what he did to save Singha.
And then we have Mek. Despite his few scenes, his appearances were not random. He shows up at the right time and acts as the situation requires. In general, I've seen several works where Lee played supporting roles, and each role was different from the last. His acting is not bad at all! I hope to see more of his work.
Something else bothered me, as I mentioned above, about the creators focusing on the romance and tying everything to it, making the case secondary—when it should be the opposite. When King was kidnapped by Bom, no one even noticed he was missing! Both Singha and Sey just assumed he was busy with the case! Even though Sey knew the last place King was—the cold storage—which was likely the place the criminal was using, he didn't suspect that something bad had happened to him? And it didn't occur to Singha that King might need help after learning his whereabouts while searching for Bom as a suspect. I guess they thought if they made Singha care about his disappearance, it would imply he still had feelings for King! He could have been concerned for him as a colleague and their team leader! And even if we excuse that, what about Sey? Aren't they friends? Even if they had issues between them. But no, they didn't lift a finger until their own loved ones were kidnapped—how ironic.
Another thing is how they insult the viewer's intelligence. When they figured out Bom's mechanism for choosing his victims, and the next targets were Darin (born on a Wednesday) and Singha and Thup (born on a Saturday), they knew perfectly well they were Bom's next victims. And yet, Sey left Darin alone when he went to the restroom! Despite Singha's warning to Mek and Sey not to leave him alone! And still, they let him go by himself!! We all knew he was going to get kidnapped; it wasn't confusing or surprising when it happened. And on the day of the chase, when Singha told Thup to stay in the car no matter what! Even his mother's ghost warned him not to get out, but he got out like an idiot without even being cautious! The result? Yes, he got kidnapped, too. There are a million ways they could have had them kidnapped—if it was inevitable—but they chose to do it this way...
It's so frustrating to me that the show ended in such a terrible way! Even in the last episode, the case was wrapped up in the first quarter, and the rest of the episode was...? And the episode before it was useless except for kidnapping Darin and Thup!!!!
The opening theme and the ending song were wonderful, and I liked them a lot... the melody is still stuck in my head.
This is my first time watching anything with Daou and Offroad, and I'm honestly blown away by their acting. I went in totally blind, didn't really look them or the show up, because the story itself was what grabbed me. At first, I was a bit nervous. I was scared their acting would be bad, and I'd be super disappointed, since this genre is my jam. But to my surprise, I absolutely loved their performances! I found myself just waiting for their scenes, whether they were together or not.
I've got to give a special shout-out to Daou. His facial expressions did all the talking! He could show pain, sadness, joy, suspicion—you name it—and I knew exactly what he was feeling before he even said a word. I love it when an actor can do that. It’s a total shame he doesn't have more dramas! And totally off-topic... he's a great singer, his voice is so captivating.
As for Offroad, I have such mixed feelings because I just couldn't trust his character the entire time! Every time I thought I could believe him, it turned out he was hiding something. Still, the role suited him perfectly. He was one of those characters who's a total mess, but you just can't hate them because you know there's good in there and that circumstances made them who they are.
And their chemistry? I don't even need to mention it; it's a given. I'm usually not a fan of couples who only ever work together—I like seeing them paired with other people—but Daou and Offroad are one of the very few exceptions. I'd be happy if they were always a duo.
About the show itself, the ending felt pretty standard for this type of story. I did have some issues with the special effects, though. The gunshots, the wounds, the injuries... all of it! I mean, when Chet got shot in the hand, it looked like a knife slash! Where was the bullet hole? A lot of the injury effects just looked really fake, and it was super obvious.
And don't get me started on the father. The constant slapping was just ridiculous and uncalled for. It was so unbelievable that his first reaction to everything was to slap his kids without even hearing them out. And if they tried to talk? More slapping. Plus, he called them awful names and blamed their mothers. He was a horrible character. I was not sad when he died.
Chet's death really got to me. Yeah, he was childish and incompetent and relied on his mom's power, but his awful parents made him that way! A power-hungry father and a murderous mother... of course, he had issues! No one cared about him except his right-hand man. When Pheem told him they were never a real family, you could see it hit him hard. And his relationship with Park felt deeper than just boss and bodyguard. That last conversation they had was so sad. And then Park died right after promising to be happy... it was like he was saying there's no happiness without Chet, and that dying to be with him was the only way.
The sister and her bodyguard? I felt zero pity for their deaths. They totally had it coming. She was a carbon copy of her father.
The plot was just a glorious mess! Everyone was plotting against everyone, and everything came out in the most chaotic way possible. You really get the feeling that nobody liked each other, and they were all just desperately trying to get control of the hospital, not realizing they were destroying themselves in the process. I knew a story like this would end badly... and honestly, I live for this kind of drama. I enjoyed every single episode, and it just got more exciting.
Well, I guess I'm off to find more of Daou and Offroad's work to binge-watch...
I compeletely agree that Puifai was killed by someone else and my theory is that Jay was in love with her and…
Yeah, it all comes back to Jay. His brother is a detective, so he knows the ropes. He knows Jade trusts him and will always be around him, and that's how he stays in the loop on the case.
Apparently, it's not friendship that connects these friends at all, but the fact that they cover for each other. They're all linked, but something's bugging me... The killer's motive is supposed to be Puifai, but he's punishing them for crimes that are totally unrelated to her?
I have a few theories: 1. Puifai's killer isn't the same person who killed the other two. 2. The killer is one of the friends and is out for revenge for some reason. 3. Jay knows way more than he's letting on. Could he be the killer?
The other weird thing is Tonkla choosing Bell to die over Cherreen! He might have a crush on her, but even that seems unlikely since Cherreen doesn't seem into him and was even blaming him for not protecting her. Which makes you wonder: if Cherreen and Bell were best friends, why would Tonkla get rid of her? And Cherreen's reaction was so odd!! Also, why did Tonkla pick "Dare" over "Truth"? Out of everyone who got the messages, I think he's the only one who chose Dare!! What is he hiding that's so bad he couldn't pick Truth? And why didn't he tell his friends he got a message, even though they knew about the game before Tar died? Tonkla is definitely the most suspicious one right now!
As for Cherreen, I think she's only getting close to Champ for her own reasons! And when Tonkla told Jay about the card but left out part of the truth... that's definitely significant. I don't know why, but I have a feeling Jay is somehow heavily tied to all of this.
And we can't rule out Champ, because he's not innocent and is backed by his father! He's the type of person who thinks he's above everyone just because his dad is a deputy and believes he'll get out of it scot-free.
Jade's blind faith in his brother means he doesn't question anything, and he's going to be in for a rude awakening at the end. Maybe Jay also got a message and is keeping quiet, or maybe he's just a tool being used by the killer to expose everyone through him (since his brother's a detective), or he's just a pawn on the killer's chessboard...
And finally, I still can't get over Joong and Dunk's chemistry! I'm loving the characters they're playing this time; the roles fit them perfectly.
I'm eagerly anticipating episode 5 next week... I planned to binge it once it was almost over or all out, but I couldn't help myself...
Am i the only know that thinks wi was lying when he said he didnt sleep with sun. I think the show consistently…
I'm thinking the exact same thing. It's impossible for Phasakorn to just give up! It's not in his personality to surrender so easily! Plus, it's so clear he still has feelings for Wi.
And you're right, Wi will do anything to get his way, we've seen that happen so many times. Yeah, he probably lied to Nong! But maybe not about sleeping with Phasakorn. There might have been some other agreement that they didn't show us.
Could the deal made at the end to save Nong's life be related to it? Because how would he know what Wi's dad was planning to do? And how did he know about Nong's deal with his father and what went down with his brother Jes?
I started watching this just for Boom - I love his acting - and I wasn't sure about Smart because I had never watched him before. I was hesitant... But when I started watching the first episode, I was hooked by his acting skills. He's good at acting as well as Boom, which makes me more satisfied while watching the whole episodes. I think the problems/drama will start from the next episode, which is something I'm not ready for yet...
I'm starting to believe that Tonkla killed his brother! Remember his conversation with Korn when he buried his cat in the campus yard? He said he didn't want to bury his cat near the person who killed it! I think he killed the cat. Maybe the cat disobeyed his orders and killed him? Likewise, his brother did something against his will and killed him so he wouldn't get in the way of him doing something - and don't ask me what it is because I don't know - but it's a possibility...
(I think the point of the flashback wasn't his memory of Korn but the cat's death, and it could be linked to his brother's death or his killer's.)
We are all confused really.. I really don't know anymore.. Everything is crazy!!!! But he is extremely enthusiastic.
Definitely. It seems like we understand what's going on but we don't. Every time we watch an episode and come up with a theory, the next episode comes along and destroys it and we're back to ground zero again.
The twist in the end? How come Dome is alive and at the same time dead? Maybe It supposes Dome died in Title's hand, and because Great saved him, the future changed. Or maybe what we saw happened in the other dimension? Argh my brain cells got burned after episode 4! All my theories are gone with the wind.
But the question is, in which dimension\timeline is the real one?
Wait a minute... Phi is Non's friend and he loves him? properly the unknown brother is the masked man and it was Phi's plan with Non and of course the unknown brother. So, Phi tryin' to protect Jin not just because he loves him! but because he knows that Jin was treating Non nicely opposite the other scumbags.
I wonder who is Non's brother? is he one of the scumbags? or is he the person who stands behind the scenes and watches all these...
As someone who is afraid of the horror genre and doesn't watch it, I can say that the series gave me goosebumps and all the time I put my hand over my mouth to prevent myself from screaming out of fear - and of course, with my eyes closed during some scenes that might startle me - I liked the atmosphere of horror and the rituals that would be strongly present in the series, which gives a greater dose of horror. I don't have any criticism yet because the first episode was very good and the acting was also good. I really enjoyed it. I don't know why I have doubts about Tee's actions. I mean, he was the only one who strongly refused to re-enact scenes from the mini-series? I want to know what dangerous thing they did to Non? Apparently, it was a serious matter calling for revenge... And, umm kinda reminds me of "Remember 15" in point of vibe and revenge.
Guys, I doubt Deddeaw! Especially after his conversation with Sam! I would be shocked if he was behind all the pictures that spread of Zee, whether they were with First or Salmon! Because it is very clear that the person who taking the photos is inside with them and not an outsider or obsessed fan. The person who is not always in the picture is the person we should be afraid of.
For those people who say that things took place quickly, I think that the series in general skips time greatly. I mean, from the review of the next episode, we see that Zee was able to leave the hospital, which means that he has recovered, and as we saw the doctor said that he needs two to three months to recover from his injuries! His departure means the end of this period (the time of his recovery). Therefore, we saw the development of feelings between First and Sprite because during these months the two remained close to each other and with Sprite's actions it is natural for First to feel what he felt.
As for Mike and Jack, it seems that Mike has had feelings for Jack for a long time because they were friends and were always roommates, so there is no need to know what happened during the whole process and how their relationship developed.
I don't understand how Zee's teammates don't think something is very off when a good player suddenly doesn't know…
I agree with your point, how did the teammates not notice the change in Zee's actions? Especially from someone skilled at Volleyball to someone who knows nothing about it!
As for First, I think he was verbally angry, meaning he was not actually angry with him, so it seemed like what you saw it (he was asking Zee to leave him alone, and after a short time it seemed as if they had reconciled), and in general, I see that First is showing the opposite of what is inside him.
I really wish you atleast watch the series before writing this. It's too soon to say all these things don't you…
I know that, and I will leave another comment after the series airs, but I wrote this as an initial opinion, and this will certainly change later, whether positive or negative. I trust Jeff's decision and I know very well that Jeff thinks carefully before making any decision. I don't know how you understood it when I talked about the series... Doesn't it necessarily mean that if I don't like something in a series, the people acting in it don't make good choices? That is, I am not saying that Jeff doesn't have experience and doesn't know what he is doing! I don't even criticize other people and I don't say that they chose an unsuitable project! Even as a fan, I can express my views (as I didn't belittle any party with my comment above). When I talked about not limiting themselves to acting with each other as a pair, I meant that they had previous work as a pair (KinnPorsche) and many people asked to be there work for them so this project was provided by their company. I only wanted to see Barcode in a starring role with someone else in order to prove himself first as a starred actor and then act in another project with Jeff since the other is already famous. That's all about it! It's true that I can't see them as a pair, but that doesn't mean that I'm against them working together! As you said, as long as the two want to work together, this is up to them, not us the fans (even though I never mentioned in my words that they should follow what we the fans say! And they should do what we like! I am against fans who are in this category in the first place who want to control their favorite loved ones, attack others, etc...), and yeah, who knows? Maybe I'll change my mind and then I'll have something else to say.
Thank you for responding to me with respect and not attacking me or being rude to me.

I have a few theories:
OMG, I have so many questions...
(I think the point of the flashback wasn't his memory of Korn but the cat's death, and it could be linked to his brother's death or his killer's.)
But the question is, in which dimension\timeline is the real one?
I wonder who is Non's brother? is he one of the scumbags? or is he the person who stands behind the scenes and watches all these...
As for First, I think he was verbally angry, meaning he was not actually angry with him, so it seemed like what you saw it (he was asking Zee to leave him alone, and after a short time it seemed as if they had reconciled), and in general, I see that First is showing the opposite of what is inside him.
Thank you for responding to me with respect and not attacking me or being rude to me.
