Some of us don't want Ai Mi to do any kissing or steamy scenes for at least ten years. The pearl-clutchers on…
Apparently, she didn't feel the same way; otherwise, she would have turned down the role. Most likely, the production team will handle the scenes tastefully. I still don't understand why there's such a fuss over a one-year difference.

just because its normal in your third world country
It has nothing to do with whether the country is "Third World" or not; it has to do with the fact that IT'S FICTION!!! Every actor or actress chose that profession (or perhaps their parents did, since I understand that in China, most children are forced to do whatever their parents say—even if the child is unhappy). In either case, who do outsiders think they are to weigh in? Who gave them the right to opine on the role an actor or actress plays, or whether the age is appropriate? If I’m 17 and I want a role—and the industry and my parents have no problem with it—I’m going to do it, and I won't care what anyone else says. That’s my freedom, and neither you nor anyone else can impose a moralistic view on me regarding this. If you’re hung up on morality, don’t watch the series—it might challenge the teachings that were imposed on you and that keep you trapped—but don’t try to impose anything on anyone else. Drop the moralizing and enjoy life more! Cheers!

Oh, please! What a bunch of tedious moralists! Just enjoy the drama and stop making such a big deal out of it!…

Even Zhang Ling He himself can't stand his fans. He’s had to put them in their place. Who do they think they are, pressuring someone about who can or can't act? Honestly, they’re insufferable. Fans of *any* actor really need to get a life! The worst part of it all is that the Chinese have a culture of collective thinking and live according to that collective mindset... what a disaster; they lack independent reasoning... With that in mind, I’d like to know: if the person next to you jumps into a well, does everyone jump into the well?

Pay no mind to the negative 'reviews' of this drama. I'm not sure what is going on, though I can guess. Just try…
I'm giving the drama a chance because I love the main characters. The AI lowered my expectations, and the editing really does look kind of strange. Anyway, I'm going to give it a shot.

I agree about the weight-for-height ratio; they're very thin and unhealthy. But...what hypocrisy! If the actors have slightly darker skin, do they use makeup to make them look lighter, or do they rub their faces to remove the color? How much money do the Chinese spend on skin whitening? Unfortunately, that's the beauty stereotype in China: tall, fair-skinned, and thin, but until now, they've never said anything about it.
