WTF!!! It took me years, only to realise that AHS played the role of Park Yeon!!! I thought, I got to know him only after the Business Proposal!!!š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤āØ
I watched Girlfriend (2020) a year after its release. Initially, I did enjoy it, but after watching a wide range of C-dramas and K-dramas over the years, I realized I had completely forgotten most of the storylineāexcept for the angst in the scenes where the ex-girlfriend confronts the current girlfriend of the male lead. That part, with Tu Bing, really stuck with me.
Tu Bing honestly won me over in those episodes. As for the female lead, her acting felt quite average, especially compared to what I know sheās capable of. Tu Bing also still has room to grow in her acting, but in this drama, her performance left a more lasting impression than the FLās. I still vividly remember the scene where Tu Bing showed her antagonist sideāit stood out.
Just to clarify, Iām not trying to criticize any actress personally; this is purely my honest opinion as a viewer.
I have a habit of re-rating dramas based on how well I remember them over time. If a story is truly impactful, it tends to stay with me, even if Iām not planning to rewatch it right away. On the other hand, if I really love the plot, Iāll happily rewatch it multiple timesāprovided it doesnāt get repetitive or boring.
Final thoughts: I did enjoy the overall plot, despite its somewhat childish setup. It was a fun ride at the time, but for me, itās not a drama I would choose to revisit.
Is it just me? or does he really look similar to Zhai Xiang Yang?! If not for his (Zi Cheng) mole, I would have totally believed they are the same person or they are twins...
Just now completed watching the epi 11.... Dang it, took me 4 hours to watch the entire drama. Honestly the first half triggered my emotions, which made me pause it for sometime but in the end, I enjoyed the later half. Now waiting for S2. The first half was draggy and the second half was literally rushed to make a way for S2. I hope they give a reasonable explanation to this last episode in season 2.
7 Mins into the drama and I'm already so pissed off by the sigma guy and his outdated comment about LGBTQ couples!!!! I don't know how am I going to continue watching this last episode!!!
Is it just me?! or does Song Weilong looks like Boom's long lost brother?! Where boom's face cut and his 'Top Form' character Akin's hairstyle and fashion matches similar to SWL!!! If SWL and Boom are paired as siblings in a drama or a movie, it would be so cool to watch. Hope they really get a better script.
The episode "Flowers and Tears" is all about Akin's tears and his grandma's farewell flowers. Just like everyone else, even I felt bad that Akin is crying in this 10th episode too... but it's all for the best. I love how the grandma mentions that her script is unfinished and needs Akin's magical touch to complete it. Even if Sigma has purchased rights to Akin's grandma's theatre work, they can't create a story like the one Akin would probably recreateāwith the memory of his grandma and him in it (this is what I believe and hope). By then, Jin (as fans expected) would have left the Sigma company by breaking the contract. I know in reality, shady companies like these impose heavy charges in legal ways, where no one can fight them off unless there's a loophole. Whereas here, it's fictionāand I don't know much about the Thai entertainment industry and their way of dealing with their artistsābut I do hope that the last episode of Season 1 gives way to a beautiful start for Season 2. š¤ā¤āØ
I haven't read the manga but could someone spoil it for me please... Is Judy also a villain? Like its just my suspicion and I don't even want that to be true. In the 8th episode, there was a hand which collected Akin and Jin (scandal) pictures from the stalker, although those nails weren't painted and kind a looked manly in some way yet I felt it was Judys' hand, and I reconfirmed that feeling when the episode 9 ended with the shot of Judy's hands holding the ring. Does anyone felt the same?
The "Black Honey Cut" special edition + The private interview with Smart and Boom was soo good to watch. In this interview, both Smart and Boom showcased, how they trusted each other with the NC scenes and how much they trust each other. I was actually giggling throughout their interactions because both of them were deliberately teasing & flirting with one another then gets shy & embarrassed about the whole NC thingš¤£ā¤. This alone tells how much they are comfortable and intimate with one another, after setting their boundaries, doing work shops together and bringing the characters Jin and Akin to life.
I have known Zhao Lu Si as an actress for the past six years, starting from her debut dramas. However, first and foremost, I recognize her as a human being. Having worked as an intern in the entertainment industry, I have gained some understanding of its realities. While I have never met her in person, my experiences in the industry and the people Iāve encountered help me empathize with her journey.
I donāt claim to fully know the struggles she might have faced in the past. Beyond the uncredited rumors and news headlines, I believe itās important not to judge or comment without knowing the full truth. Now that she has clarified her side of the story, I want to say this:
"Xiao Lu, you did great. Itās been a tough journey, but youāve shown immense bravery. You always gave your best, and you deserve nothing but the best. As a fellow human being, I see you as a warrior who has triumphed through a war."
P.S.: I sincerely wish and hope that Zhao Lu Si can regain her health and mental peace this year. I look forward to seeing her return to the screen stronger than ever. Personally, I have envied and admired her in a healthy wayāthough I must admit that social mediaās unrealistic portrayals often influenced those feelings. Regardless, I truly wish to see her achieve even greater success, both in her career and in her life.
Happy New Year to you, Zhao Lu Si (Rosy Zhao), and Happy New Year to everyone! May this year be filled with prosperity, love, good health, wealth, peace of mind, happiness, and growth opportunities.
I really hate when production houses leave this kind of concept in a mysterious way!!! give us a satisfactory ending that could give the viewers a hope that they would meet in the present timeline like the interstellar movie... Both IFYLITA and Moon Lovers just disappointed the fans without showing a better ending... Now the fans have to manifest for S2 for both!!! The makers think its best to leave as it is but imo, creating better script for S2 would definitely satisfy everyone.... Spending right amount of budget wouldn't leave you bad ratings!!!
The makers did huge changes to the drama version, since the manga only has 72 episodes, the plot lines were reduced and only focused on the key storyline and the character development (I love the manga more)... I hope by the end of the drama, the Sc.writers can give much better ending to this story...
what's wrong with the FL does it have to be his brother and ur soon to be brother in-law..... did she even think…
Bro read the manga first, it is hilarious. Maybe the makers of this drama did some changes to it... I haven't watched it yet since I wanted to read the manga before watching the drama.. I freaking love the mangaā¤š„ Its older woman and younger man troupe and I am here for it.
