Well,the ml s behaviour indeed felt rude enough but if you atleast watch upto 12 epi(as far as i remember) y could know about his childhood and the hardships he went through. his character is definitely different , like he declines to help zhuyun ,then he does at the last moment or without her knowing. his deeds might seem unacceptable to many but that should not be the reason to drop the show(acc to me ofc). and as for the fl,she is sort of a helpless lover, she cant help but going back to him again and again. but as you see,she is not a stalker,she always chased him bcz she loved him even when she didnt acknowlwdge her feelings. morever, their chemistry was so good,every romance scenes felt convincing.the show has half epi s in campus ,and then got a time leap,where lixun again soars up to high in the business world and zhuyun supports him. if i say more it could spoil the drama.
I understand your reasons for dropping, its normal if you found that disappointing. as for me,i absolutely loved this drama,and as a die hard fan i will still recommend you to watch . The rest is upto you.

Yeah hopefully,the 1st one was so good so i was expecting another one sooner. i never head of richard li,totally sounds unfamiliar,ig i will check him out. bailu zhanglinghe both are really adorable,i heard they never confirmed their relation,some says its rumour,i will be really happy if they are together in real life. i didnt watch long ballad. i heard dilreba and wulei were a couple in this drama. their kiss could have been really weird tbh due to the age gap,i think thats why the director skipped . zhang jinyi and yitian has good chem though. i initially didnt like yitian,but in bia ,he is doing really well,so their romance also seems convincing enough.

it feels like it just started yesterday,those who are watching this from the very start, will feel so empty when ends.

do historical romance dramas always tend to be like this?i dont watch much thats why asking, the romance part is hardly there. i would have loved if they had kissed today ,i still remember how i yearned for lixun zhuyun s kiss for literally 15 episodes,but ep 35 made the wait so worthy. hope the director wont disappoint here.

The qin mother daughter duo is so annoying,the mother stops whining ,the daughter creates another scene,but iam fine as long as she didnt show any enemity towards zhi, wish she had less screentime in today s episode. i rather prefered to watch fudong s marriage ceremony.
i wish shenhuan acted more maturely but iam sure he will,i think he just doesnt have that rebellious mentality.but boy acts really well! i mean he is just 19. iam sure he will shine in future. btw the machete scene and the bowl breaking scene was so funny,yanxi s scenes werent ever this amusing.

as finished 29 epis,i just realized the recent epi s have been more awesome and interesting if compare tbh. the flow of this drama is soo good, as each story unfolds and zhi overcomes the adversities , there comes more intriguing twists.

i think it will finish airing before may. definitely can wrap within this week. iam just afraid i wont have any other good drama after this to watch.
