Yoon Si Yoon is underrated because he always plays slightly "cooky" characters. 2 dramas have made me cry before this one, but the scene in episode 31 on the stairs with Hyun Jae made my bawl my eyes out. As soon as Yoon started crying so did I.
The crying. I was sceptical to begin with because YSH cries to a ridiculous extent in everything. I dropped it 7 eps in because I couldn't take the crying. Thanks to your review, I don't regret my decision :)

This is exactly how I feel when someone suggests I watch something I've dropped unless something momentous happens, like I used to hate an actor and then saw them in something else and realised they were, in fact, excellent. Great article! I watched a few of these the whole way through and dropped others, some I haven't started, but the way you expressed yourself here was concrete, hilarious and well written. <3
sunny was my fave character in a drama this year even though goblin wasn't my fav (don't send hate mail - I quite liked it) but there's a point in one episode when she comments that there's always 7 shots in a bottle of Jinro. i always get 8. am i doing something wrong?
Can you tell me what you thought the "movie mistakes" were (but put them behind spoiler tags)? I noticed two but over all they didn't spoil this movie for me.

If I had a friend who talked AT me that much, I would slap her and tell her to take a chill pill. Normal people don't behave like this. That's why this drama is bloody stupid.

I have 25 years in the work force and none of my colleagues have spoken to me in such a manner. Had my subordinates spoken to me so excessively or in such a disrespectful way they wouldn't have jobs the next day.
The nonsense I heard being tossed around in this drama is out of this world. People just don't behave like this. If you behave like this, your life will be really, really, ridiculously difficult.
