People make sure to vote on Idol Champ so that the main couple can win the Korea popularity award for both male and female categories. They are currently in second place
At least people can comment their criticisms of the show and not get butchered it for it. In other comment sections and I won’t name which drama but I’m sure people know which exact drama I am talking about, people get absolutely harassed for leaving a comment on how they did not like the drama. Difference of maturity of their respective audience I guess
Thumbs down to this article. Being negative gets more attention though, so maybe that was the angle. I read as…
The most interesting thing for me is the timing of this article. There is a huge voting going on for some awards and it’s weird this review comes out now when the show finished more than a month ago. I am not saying this person is bitter about the popularity of the show but there’s some clear bias at play here
This is a fine review even though I actually loved the show, I can see why people may not like some aspects. But now, I would love for this writer to also review Lovely Runner, with the same amount of scrutiny because I would be interested to see how this person reviews that show
Ok but do you see who the leads are and how well they acted. They are literally the whole show for a reason, one…
You are ignorant of the fact that the reason why people liked it was because of the two main leads and how they portrayed their acting. You can’t really take away from that lol. And don’t be so concerned about likes, that’s not that important
Change the leads and this series would've gotten 8.5 at best
Ok but do you see who the leads are and how well they acted. They are literally the whole show for a reason, one of the best pairings in recent memory, if not ever.
you learn your wife is dying and you are happy about it, the screenwriter forcing that to the max trying to make…
Do you not see where his mental state was at the start of the show? Hae-In was dying physically but Hyun-Woo was at death’s door mentally. And it was showed that he was just trying to convince himself of this and his actions largely contradicted this and he showed care for her when she needed it. Also, it was used for comedic purposes and I actually thought he was hilarious in the show.
I don’t want to be that guy but there is some people here who literally live in the comment section😂 Some crazy dedication and time y’all got. Even for my favourite drama, I wouldn’t have this much energy
The best part about this drama was how unique it was and the great acting from the cast. All the characters were written very well and we had a coherent plot throughout where everything made sense. I enjoyed watching this drama alot but I guess the one thing it lacked was those shock factor moments or epic moments which other dramas can boast about. But, with that being said, this drama wasn’t designed to do that but just tell a story about how fate is intertwined and how the end of something can be the beginning of another. Proper show this and a great comeback for Jang Ki Yong. 8.5/10
Wow these shippers are gross🤮 Soo Hyun gets invited to music festival and is filmed whispering into a girl’s ear and people are assuming the worst about him and talking about how he cheated and other wild accusations and also sending hate to the girl’s social media account. People have no sense of awareness and are way too caught up in their delusions. I feel so bad for these actors
The most underrated aspect of this show, is how it managed to give so many characters of the supporting cast, their own character arcs. Obviously, Eun Sung, while watching the show got on our nerves, but he's also an interesting character to look back and definitely a character with several layers to him, which was acted brilliantly by Park Sung Hoon. But, the Queens family and Yongduri family got a lot of shine in this drama, and my favourite parts of the show has to be when all these eccentric characters were interacting with each other, made for some really fun moments. Obviously, the main leads were the stars of the show, but these characters also played a large part in why everything was so fun to watch and the comedic interactions between all these characters were good. I am comparing this to say the cast of Lovely Runner, where other than the second male lead and the main couple, the comedy scenes of that show with the side characters were very highly pitched and got annoying at times. Both still great shows but it's one the reasons why I like Queen of Tears better
Finished episode 7, and so far it's been an okay watch. This is a drama consisting of moments. Perfect for a youtube compilation of swoonworthy moments and that's it. Some moments are really good and organically built up in the screenplay which the audience can enjoy but there's also alot of fluff in each episodes which struggles to grab your attention. I think all the characters are nicely built up however, just wish the pacing could have been alot better, even though this is supposed to be a healing drama. I feel like other dramas which are similar to this have actually done a better job in this aspect. I can see how this drama got popular and Chief Hong is a well-liked character for sure, but it feels like one of my longest watches for sure. I have been watching for a whole month and I've only finished episode 7 till now.
The age difference would bother me slightly considering I saw her play a kid version of the heroine in METS. I would love for him to be paired up with some of the older A-list actresses such Song Hye Kyo, Son Ye-Jin, Park Min Young. Also, actresses such as Kim Go- Eun, Park Eun Bin, Lee Sung Kyung, Kim Tae Ri,Park Bo Young and Shin Hye Sun would be some great pairings as well.
I couldnt for the life of me understand why any man .. and 2 of them here.. would be crazily in love with her!…
If you want people to like Lovely Runner, then you shouldn’t go and hate on other dramas. That’s just going to attract haters for your show. Like your comment serves no purpose and just reeks of pure jealousy because of the fact that despite Lovely Runner being popular, it’s not Queen of Tears level popular. If you like Lovely Runner, then you shouldn’t care about that. Just be happy that your fav drama achieved success and not downplay other dramas
One of the best KDramas of all time and my first KDrama ever. Only few has ever gotten close to this masterpiece, and for me this is the gold standard when it comes to action-thriller in KDramas. Ji Chang Wook was like the coolest guy in the world to me when this was airing.
