Oh also one thing I wished about this drama was that instead of having the taxi driver, who kept killing Sun Jae, they should have just had Sun Jae die in different circumstances and tied into the main storyline of how fate playing a factor in the main leads’ relationship. I did find the overall sub storyline of this drama being a crime thriller to be weak but it never really harmed my enjoyment but I feel like you can easily write that character off since he serves no purpose in the drama and having Sun Jae pass away in a different manner would have been better.

Just finished watching the show, and it was great! I really enjoyed the main couple and especially Byeon Woo Seok, who delivers his best performance in this drama. Storyline is pretty cliched, and it feels like a drama straight from 2016, but that’s not a bad thing, if anything that’s the best compliment for this drama. It’s nostalgic. The OST’s were good especially Sonaki and the song by 10CM are standouts, the rest are okay. The only thing which I didn’t like about the show is that the comedy was hit or mess for me at times, and some of the side characters really didn’t matter other than Tae Sung. But, the drama really over-delivered on my expectations and deserves the praise it’s getting. Great drama carried by its two main leads. 9/10 for the show, and am glad I watched it.

He doesn’t really have a motive other than in each timeline, he becomes obsessed in killing Im Sol and Sun Jae. He’s just a psychopath.

Uh oh, the hate comments are starting to pop up here. This is what some Lovely Runner fans did in the QoT comment section and kept hating on it. Why can’t fans of both fandoms just be respectful towards the other drama and just enjoy the success and the ride which both dramas took us on. Both shows are great in my opinion and easily the two best shows of 2024 so far but it would be nice to see people being more respectful and not making everything regarding both dramas a comparison with one another, these drama’s don’t deserve to be hampered with that sort of energy.

I mean it’s for that reason that the QoT leads refused to do media interviews after their drama ended. These so-called “journalists” have no filter and ask the most out of pocket questions such as about their love lives or any controversy they can create. Korea has some of the worst media coverage I have ever seen. Alot of them are very tasteless in how they cover stories. Feel bad for Hye Yoon for sure, such a nice girl.

Let’s hope Jiwon is also nominated when the full nomination list comes out because no way she deserves to be snubbed again. Just tryna see my girl get her much deserved shine.

I’m binging the show right now and I like it quite alot but I’m sure it’s been mentioned already but how annoying is the second couple man! Currently, on episode 12 but the scenes which they are in just aren’t for me. The only characters which I truly like in this drama is Sun Jae, Sol, Tae Sung, In-Hyuk and Haemoni. The rest are pretty meh and the second couple been annoying fr. But can’t wait to catch up to Ep 16, this show has helped me get over my drought since Queen of Tears and I’m glad I gave this show a try. Ryu Sun Jae is such a goated male lead.

Honestly, the romance in this drama is pretty weak and I could not really care for it. I honestly thought Suzy had mid chemistry with both the leads and I blame it on primarily how Suzy’s character was written. Kim Seon Ho’s character is definitely the most interesting in this drama, and I love Han Ji Pyong’s relationship with the grandma. It’s the best written relationship in the drama by far and showed really nice layering. It helps their chemistry on-screen is great and really grabs the viewer’s attention. I also like the overall premise of the drama and work related events which the drama explores. I must note alot of the situations are not realistic or not depicted in a realistic manner but it did keep me interested and I did dig it. But back to the romance, it’s very weak in my opinion and for people that complained about it, I get it though I’m actually kinda glad the second male lead didn’t end up with Suzy. Their romantic scenes felt weird as did the main couple’s romantic scenes too, which just ties into my lack of chemistry issue with this drama. But, as a rag to rich story, it did hit the notes quite well and for that aspect, this drama is worth a watch. Also, I felt Kim Seon Ho’s performance was really good in this and he deserves mention for that. The rest of the actors did well too but their character’s weren’t anything special. I didn’t really have any second-lead syndrome but,I did get bored of the drama towards the end.

I just saw your comment on the Jo Bo Ah post, suggesting she had to do casting couch to get her role on Knock-Off. You have the right to be a KSH hater but the internet shouldn’t empower you to make such malicious and gross comments about people. Makes you look like a real jackass. I pray that one day you’re able to get rid of all the hate in you and be at peace. Just stop crossing lines and saying really dumb and hurtful things.

Oh well the rating went down but who cares? Because this show is one of the most successful and beloved shows of all-time so people who love the show on this website can take pride in that. Plus, the score is still pretty good in my opinion.

I’m just happy we’ll get another drama from him in the foreseeable future. I have a hard time moving on from his dramas (especially Queen of Tears), so it’s nice to know something is in the pipeline. Can’t wait for this show, it seems really different from his past works and seems really interesting. Also Bo-Ah is a pretty good actress, I do think it’s unfair to compare her to his previous co-stars because they are definitely more highly regarded, but I’m sure she’ll do a great job and hopefully this serves for a great launching pad for her as it did for Kim Soo Hyun’s previous female leads.

I’ve seen a few shows of her and she’s been okay to me but I don’t think I will ever skip a Kim Soo Hyun drama. That man knows how to pick his scripts. His shows are always worthwhile watches and I never get bored of him

Review bombing this show after it has finished and set all the records which it did,won’t accomplish what some of these sad people are attempting to doing. You didn’t like the show, give it the score you want and keep it moving. I never get why other people get so mad that alot of people liked a show which they didn’t. It’s some pseudo inferiority complex which they struggle to cope with. I’ve had plenty of shows which others loved but I couldn’t get personally into. That doesn’t make me weird or anything, it’s normal. But it’s sad seeing people so hung up with a show which they claim they did not like LOL

I am so happy with Ji-Won’s stardom shining even brighter than before. She truly deserves it and I think after QoT, she is probably the most desirable actress in KDrama land right now. I just hope she continues the massive momentum she has in her career right now and stays on track. It’s crucial she doesn’t derail her momentum like how Seo Ye-Ji did after IOTNBO and keeps up the good work, taking on the best projects and all the exposure which comes her way. I will be pray to the gods that she finds herself casted beside Kim Soo Hyun again because they are my all-time favourite couple pairing ever. Fighting Ji-Won❤️!!!

IOTNBO was also my favourite drama before this drama aired because of how much I loved the chemistry of Yea-Ji and KSH in that one but Ji-Won surpassed all expectations and somehow beat that drama for me personally. Out of all his female leads so far, she’s my favourite and my favourite K-actress period. I loved all her works before this and she was always high up on my list of favourites but QoT elevated her to new heights. I always thought Ae-Ra, Myung-Joo and Rachel Yoo would be her most popular roles, but Hong Hae-In is just so iconic. One of the most memorable characters for sure. A matter of fact, the best part about Kim Ji-Won is how different her characterization of all her characters are. It never feels like she is ever playing the same character. A true actress she is and I am a forever fan of hers now.

Again, that is your opinion and it is perfectly fine. I am currently watching Lovely Runner, and while I do enjoy it, I don’t feel the same for it as I did for QoT. And my reasoning is along the same lines as yours. I don’t feel like I am watching anything new in terms of the time-travelling trope and also I don’t feel that other than Sun-Jae, any of the characters have any depth or development to them. The show is a nice-watch but I also felt like the entertainment value of QOT was higher. However, is that to say both our opinions are wrong? No, it’s not but I don’t have to go to the other drama which I feel like is overshadowing my favourite drama and start comparing it. I feel like that just doesn’t do any favors to Lovely Runner and seems like a waste of effort on your part. Just let both shows exist the way they are, instead of trying to compare them.

Well, that was definitely a ride. I didn’t agree with the twist in episode 15 but Episode 16 was definitely a way better episode and I am more than satisfied with the ending. I actually loved the final montage and that ending actually made me much more happier and it was more beautiful then any ending you can ask between them. Kim Soo Hyun’s OST was out of this world by the way. This was my favourite drama but I don’t know if it will remain that way after the last couple of episodes but one thing for certain, this is undoubtedly my favourite K-Drama couple of all time. Give me a hundred shows with Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won as the main lead, I will watch them all. Congrats on the team for the hardwork, the actors especially, they deserved it.
