Maybe because you weren't looking at all? You didn't even look and you're not really interested. Otherwise, you would know that there are so many different projects on Japanese historical themes that there won’t be enough time to see them all (exaggerating). I mean historical ones, not fantasy in a historical setting, as they do in China and Korea.
