I think Baoning doesnt have to explain anything to him. Perhaps he needs closure, but it's not like Baoning treat him that differently before she married Liqian.
Somehow, I dont find this GMR and ZX antics to be that annoying simply because their plans jst never actually work. Sometimes, it's even interesting to see what unfold from their crazy antics.
What i do find annoying is the crappy editing, some messy plot, and tons of unnecessary characters arcs. Why cant they just limit the characters and make the plot more neat.
I know it is based on a novel, but they have changed a lot anyway... 😶
From the previous trailer, ZX does still have a grudge against LQ untill latter eps. But he's more willing to cooperate with LQ on the battlefield compare to before LQ saved his sorry ass. (Actually I like their bromance in the last 2 eps, but when they add BN into the mix, ZX jst become his usual butt hurt self again 😂).
As for ZX annoyed face seeing LQ & BN being lovey dovey, i think most people will be annoyed regardless they like the couple or not 🤭 like "pse you two, get a room will ya" 😁

I dunno how to answer this, haha... But i dont quite enjoying last night episodes. Mostly because of the editing. The story was fine. It's good to see the Gao girl failed her every attempt 😁
Now LQ, he is still containing himself not to beat the shit out of ZX. Poor guy is getting bullied here and there but he's fine.

He is a very faithful loving doting husband in the novel. However, Baoning would still be scared Li Qian would find a concubine or sleep with some young maids.
So, oneday when Li Qian go home from the military camp she let him bed her even he's not allowed yet. Grandma found out jst from the way Li Qian hold Baoning's waist, haha. It's kind of funny there
He stands out from all those mediocre supporting characters.
