Is it romance full center or just romance as plot instrument? If romance full center i never really enjoy it, unless perhaps it's romantic comedy.
I like John Wick, and of course the reason John did what he did was because of his decease wife. However, this romance merely treated as plot instrument so the whole thing can move forward.
Yet, each of their own. I never really find pure romance story interesting.
Agree. As much as I want to feel sad for LQ … I can’t because he broke his wife’s heart and left her with…
The drama actually hinting on it that Li Qian have the command of the most powerful military unit in the kingdom (not to mention the soldiers are very loyal to Li Qian by the look of eps 35-36) that's why everyone opposing the current child emperor prying for his head.
In the novel, all these imperial people actually afraid Li Qian will built his own army and dethrone the emperor, so they send an imperial edict to station him on the frontline.
Hollywood still has the better series and varied selection of genres so im watching mostly western series than asian.
There seem to be good scripts but got neglected bcoz most viewers who watch asian drama prefer romance genre. With romance it's just... You cant flex many life complexity into it.
Finale 10 minutes of a happy ending and some dumbass redemption arc even for ZX. 🤮
I just watched his subbed interview from wetv. Poor guy was actually in tears said there's too much pressure lately.
JZ voiced it better while all smiling, saying "people ask why choose this drama, why film the same genre" he chuckled before continuing "what to do? There's really not many options".
UN is of course much better in term of basically everything compare to this mess.
Im siding with LQ too. Watching the raw shoot where JZ actually really slap himself hard was distressing. The sounds of the slapps were jst 。:゚(;´∩`;)゚:。
Yet, it's still hard to justify the siding when the writer wrote BN's character very badly. Like NO, even in her wildest craziest mind there's no way she would try to kill her unborn baby. Logically, she is not a character who would do that. If it's an act like some think, then the expression wasnt that convincing.
It was all the fault of script writers/editors/production team and not the actors so I don’t understand about…
Im watching more western series these days. Got interested in some c-drama/k-drama if the poster or trailer is interesting. But i usually avoid romance genre for they never actually offer anything new.
I dont find Novoland poster and or trailer interesting. They give off a very superficial vibe. So, im not planning on watching that.
Probably you've miss a lot of scenes or you're skipping jjy so much scenes and only watching jz scenes.BN is smart…
I really dont care anymore, tbh. Like, they wrote Miaorong to be despiteful for sooooooooooo many episodes then suddenly turn her into white flower was just... 🥴🥴
That being said, the writers are pretty much the god here. They can basically write Qing Tai slipped himself in the bathroom and die, i wont be so surprised anymore 😂
I've dropped it at eps 24th. Watched it again at 35, and since it's only 4 eps left i decided to go for it and see where this mess ends. 😁

Personal attack is basically derived from hatred. And i will never understand how anyone has the energy to follow the work or leaving a comment on someone they dont like. If it's me i wont even bother to see the artist's works, really.
As of acting skills, there are very rare actors who can pull layered of emotions naturally these days. I dont know. The trend in asia lately is just batch of good looking people after another with mediocre acting skill. The only trick is to gain legion of fans and you good to go for the industry mostly only care with the capital these actors/artists bring in (╯ರ ~ ರ)╯︵ ┻━┻

I understand the actor criticism if it's based on acting ability, and i do find some actors here lack emotional expressions that eventually made the character feeling cannot be transfered really well to the audience. Hence many here has voiced out about the contrast in acting ability.
Even If you cant choose your script or under a strict contract none cant take away your credibility if you perform really well in such limited option.
However, what i fail to understand is for some fanatic fans the criticism is somehow a direct personal attack😐
All that said, this writing is just BAD BAD you cant even blame if the actors didnt perform well.

Nah, im not convinced.... Her expression was too vague to tell anything. And the physician seem to be loyal. He didnt even want to tell ZX the health record at first. Besides if she only wanted to know the difference why did it behind close door? That weird logic. Untill it's explained in later period why Baoning did what she did I regarded this as a very BAD writing. Not that it's anything good, but trying to kill ur unborn son is just peak comedy.
And another thing, for such a smart character she did actually believe grandma died bcoz of Li Qian, let's find the guy and kill him? C'moon 🤣🤣🤣🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
I cant believe you actually defense this bad writing 😆

But this drama has no logic whatsoever

I was reading
almost everyone wanted Li Qian to die around eps 35-35 so im curious why.
Those 2 eos were pretty decent thouhh
