I watched it now 10 years after the release yet it's soo beautiful and I loved it. now I understood what people were telling the 2016 Vibe... descendants of the sun, goblin, legend of the blue sea,w .... I want more drama like this where I will feel like ohh I am watching a k drama
Now we finally understand… from the point of view of the people she hurt, manipulated, and destroyed we are seeing it the same way. She did all this, ruined lives around her, even our favourite characters fell apart, and yet she is finally on top. She actually destroyed us mentally too we’re left in disguise, disturbed, and shattered because of her. And even though her own life was destroyed in the end, she still climbed up, defeating death itself. Seeing her rise while everything even the ones we loved fell apart… it’s terrifying, mesmerizing, and absolutely heartbreaking at the same time.
hate you baek ah jin how can you laugh at junseo like that (he was ur partner in crime buddy). Everyone got their ending why she is still alive 😭. They all deserved to die and she was the one who should be in hell by now 🫠it was a masterpiece though. well written, well portrayed and top notch acting .
Even though it was comedy-filled from the beginning, some scenes and storylines felt mature and meaningful, and I really enjoyed it till episode 12. The story was pacing up, and my emotions were really intensified. But the last episode suddenly felt like a 9+ comic or a child’s fantasy story — everything became too bright, too simplified, almost like they were scared to let the story stay sad or complex.
Still, when I think about it from another angle, maybe that was the only way to give them a happy ending. The story was built around an impossible connection — a genie and a human — so there wasn’t really a “perfect” way to wrap it up. A tragic or bittersweet ending might’ve been emotionally stronger, but it would’ve left a lot of people heartbroken.
Even though the tone shift disappointed me, I understand why they did it. The emotional weight from the last few episodes kind of got lost in all the fairytale glitter by the end… but I still enjoyed it. and ep 10-11-12 were like cliffhanger/ nail baiting for me, unpredictable scenes and I literally cried ....... I loved all the past scenes . ki ka young's costumes were on spot. she slayed in every outfit.
I was pretty disappointed with the ending, but after giving it some thought, I realized that it reflects reality. The show was trending globally, so we all expected much more — maybe even a happy ending. But how can we call it a happy ending after so many characters were killed? Still, I wished the detective would catch the VIPs.
But we forgot that the show was about harsh realities, raw emotions, and the vulnerability of human beings. Till the end, they were fighting for money. Nobody trusted each other; it was all betrayal. That’s what life is.
We wanted the detective to arrest or kill the bad people and stop the game forever, but in reality, that’s never going to happen. The rich are always protected, and the poor are always exploited. We can’t change a corrupt system unless everyone understands the situation and stands against it. That was the theme from season 1.How many times did they vote to continue the game? They never came together to stop it. In-ho wanted Gi-hun to act like him by killing everyone else, but in the end, he realized that not all humans are the same.Gi hun sacrificed his life for a baby.
We can blame fate for forcing us to do something bad, but in reality, it is we who commit those acts not our fate.
episode 2 was portrayed really well. After the birth of the baby the episodes were little draggy but that was because we expected some cliffhanger and adventurous twists but they show was emotionally wrapping up. It was an emotional rollercoaster. it showed reality but we wanted more fun , more plot twists like the vips . may be here we were the vips.
I expressed concern for the actress's health by saying she looked 'sick', meaning unhealthy, not body-shaming. Interestingly, when I did, I was told I had 'sick eyes'! Doesn't that imply the same criticism? As a consumer, I have the right to voice my feelings. However, I apologize if my words were misinterpreted or caused offense - that was never my intention. The Korean beauty standards that prioritize extreme thinness, promoting a BMI below 18.5, are unhealthy and damaging. Let's promote positive body image!
I was invested in a happy ending, awaiting his father's return to complete their family. But the last scene ruthlessly yanked me back to harsh reality.
Sick eyes, huh? Well, those 'sick eyes' loved this drama (rated 9!)! Seriously though, I think she looks unhealthy or underweight. Maybe it's just me? korean beauty standards, perhaps?.....
why fl look like she is sick 😭😭😭. I loved her in true beauty but here 🥺🥺🥺. other than the scenes where she is happy she look so so sick. It felt like she was not able to convey the emotional scenes properly she was just sitting like a doll 🙃
it's good. but I really felt as the story progressed the NIS agents were not behaving like NIS. 1st they used something to erase the cctv photos and all but in later episodes they don't even care about anything. may be side effects of acting as a high schooler. still I love this show

it was a great drama indeed ❤️
