I understand where you are coming from but I think she is still young. Her recent roles are different from her usual ones so if she really accepts the drama, it shouldn't cause any harm. Her haters will be there to mock her no matter what she does. At the end of the day, i don't think the results will be bad after all its an adaptation of a popular novel and I trust Lusi to have chemistry with whomever is the ml.

I don't even get you on how you wanted to watch this at first and now don't lol. Lusi was in this from the begining not like she just randomly appeared to lead the drama all of a sudden. I am the type of a person that doesn't like to be harsh or be trigerred but you've succeeded. So you don't like her so what should we do? Why are you saying this everywhere? That's your opinon and I don't think it's necessary for you to come to mention it here. For you and others maybe she is overrated but for her fans and us that like her know her very well and love her very much so we like praising her and hyping her but we're doing so because she worked hard to get her fans attention. Lusi is more of a rising star, she's not very popular yet in China . She happens to have a lot of international fans too who support her. Not everybody will agree or even accept that she has a lot of charm, luck, and she's very hardworking plus she's also so nice and friendly. I personally didn't become her fan because I found her pretty or after watching her drama but after seeing how nice she is to her fans, how she gets along with everyone on her drama bts, that's how she got my attention. On a broader sense, every popular or rising celebrity is overrated after all his or her fans like to hype them but they did something to earn that affection right? Fans can't be bought, fans are earned. So if you don't like her at all it's understable but please leave her alone and go and hype the ones you think are underrated. It's your opinion and maybe you feel good after mentioning that here but note that a lot of her fans come here to be updated and show love and many fans do that for their favorites on this app and this doesn't apply to Lusi alone. Some fans may get trigerred and this will just turn bloody. Lusi is not everybody's favorite person but she's her fans favorite and we will always support her and be her smelly babies( If you know you know lol)!

I'm not sure there's much publicity about Lusi's family's life in order to know if her dad is as rich as in those rumours but even if it were true, she's been very low key about it from the beginning of her career. From what I've seen, she's been working non stop from the start till date. Two low budget dramas of hers were massive hits last year did well done some high budget dramas and if she now gets to work on a high budget and work with a popular actor for the first time since her career, i think it's fair. If even she has paid tencent to give her those big dramas you're talking about, without luck it can flop like many other high budget dramas. It's always the audience that makes something succesful. No amount of hot search can save it or money invested can save it. The audience likes cp at least that's what I've noticed since I started getting into into c- ent. Actresses like Yang Zi, Bai Lu and Lusi to me are the ones that can have chemistry even with a stone. CP feeling, good acting skills, adaptation of a popular book or casting of two popular actors, interesting concept and bl are the things that makes dramas popular and eventually the actors. Are you insinuating that Ren Min paid tencent in order to get casted alongside XZ? I think she auditioned for the role and I think she's a good actress. Even XZ and other popular actors and actresses are favoured by tencent but before their popularity, they didn't care about them much. And it's the painful truth. So whether Lusi is rich or not, at least she is a very hard worker and has a bright personality which is her good luck charm. I am a fan of other actresses that are less popular but I still love and support them and hope they blow up soon. I've said enough not gonna say anything again. You can continue to be insecure about Lusi but girlie isn't going to be defeated because she's 'paid tencent lmao' . And my last piece of advice is you're not gonna win here since more of Lusi's so called 'dumb fans' according to you are here more than haters and people that claim to like her and does otherwise like you. You can go and join Lusi's haters fan club or group chat since they believe on every bad rumour about her and you can freely vent some of your anger and insecurities there. I have celebrities I don't like with bad rumours too but I won't stoop so low to spend time searching about them. Wow I haven't logged in here for a while and when I do, there's this insecure person trying to cause chaos in my girl's comment section. It looks like you created an account just for this. You first said 'okay I like her' then you went ahead to write things that shows your clearly a hater or you 'dislike' her. I believe there are bad rumours about your fav 'idols' too but you don't believe them because you 'like' them and there's no solid proof about those rumours so why believe them. Then you spend a lot of time reading yxh posts on weibo and haters tweets on twitter and believe them when there's no proof too lol. Girlie, Lusi's first role was in 2017 as a suporting character and before TROTAR's success her haters were lowkey. She auditioned for the role, there was no publicity for the drama because it was a low budget drama with little expectation but it still became popular since then many people can't stand it that she's getting recognition and are trying 'SO HARD TO RUIN HER CAREER' but till she does something immoral or illegal, cyber bullying can't ruin her. I just pray for her to be stronger and her true fans and those who actually 'like' her will be there to support her.

Oh okay. It's actually the only time travel drama of hers I loved. Even though I like her a lot but if I don't like a drama of hers, I don't hesitate to drop it. So you're free to watch whatever makes you feel comfortable :)

I was just trying to say that the possibility of her being casted in a lot of historical dramas is very high so if seeing her in them all the time makes you feel bored, then ignore them. It was my simple way of trying to say she'll continue to act in historical dramas if nothing goes wrong in her career and you'll decide if you will watch them like that or whatever your choice is. I would like to say your comment is somehow an exaggeration? I have to admit that most of her dramas are historical but she's not the main lead in three of them so she isn't the center of attention in those. She's had four aired ones in which she's the FL. She's currently filming one and will film one next year. There are other actresses who rarely do historical dramas too and vice versa. Someone like Zhao Liying's historical dramas outweighs the other genre. Are people tired of seeing her? Some people may feel so but not all of them. I think a lot of historical dramas get filmed in a year. New actresses emerge within the year. A lot of the stable ones too film some too. So in the end, there's a lot of historical dramas with different leads out there. You just have to explore them. So if you can't watch Lusi in historical again, you have to explore the other faces on your own because with the number of historical dramas she's done, she will get a lot of offers being historical. Just ignore them if you're tired of seeing her in them.
