You don't understand how I'm feeling right now... My two favourite people ever 😭 Never ever dreamt about seeing Song Qian and Ding YuXi in one drama. I am apologizing for person I will be when I see them in one frame 🥺 ♡♡
Hey can you tell me when the leads start dating each other??
Ep. 19, they start going on dates and they have their first kiss after all this years. But they have lovely scenes even before that and they are going strong till the end of the drama (no break up, no stupid fights) 😄
I loved this drama! I really enjoyed it and for 3 weeks straight I was waiting everyday for new episodes (it was the peak of my days in January). Had really great time with it. Despite every bad comment, review and opinion about "Our Interpreter" I think it is worth watching (or at least give it a try and see for yourself)
Some things I want to talk about: (SPOILER ALERT)!!!!
1. LX and XYC were annoying at first - they still loved each other but yeah (exactly: but what?). Then XYC started approaching LX which sometimes was too much but overall it was cute to me - he knew she still had feelings for him so he was trying harder. LX was scared, I guess (she knew she would have to choose again between work and love)
2. I liked CY character! At first he was immature and a little annoying but later he got better!! And it was nicely done and explained - it was not a love he felt for LX, he just wanted to win with XYC. And I'm not saying he didn't have any feelings for LX, because he did! It just wasn't love.
3. CY and TX relationship was so cute! Started with friendship, getting to know each other, having some problems to loving each other! CY relationship with Peter was one of the best things in this drama - prove me wrong, they were so cute!
4. TSS and WT were okay… I guess? Pretty tiring because of a TSS but not the worst. She was poorly written but not every character can be cool (it’s what I’m saying to myself, don’t mind me). I would not cry if they had fewer moments - for real, sometimes I wanted to skip them. And most definitely I wanted to skip every TSS moment with her mom (the ‘mommy’ was so annoying!!!!!)
5. I loved the part where LX had a problem with her subordinate (Chen Wen?). The whole thing was frustrating but I couldn’t blame any of them. Their conversation was really good, I felt everything they were saying. And it was nice that LX understanded it at the end - the whole “maybe I’m selfish thinking everyone are like me, wanting to constantly improve themselves. Maybe some people just want to have a nice, decent life”. It was soo good!! Still thinking about this conversation.
6. The whole relationship between the leads was so sweet. I’m glad there wasn't any break up or anything like this. I liked that when they knew another had some problems they just asked “do you want to tell me something?” and they waited. Waited for the other to talk to them when they felt like it and just were by each other's side. It was nicely done.
7. LX and XYC were a really good couple, I could feel their love and how they cared about each other. I loved their scenes together (At some point there were too few of them together actually). VS and CXX had really good chemistry - look amazing together! And I think it may be the first time ever when my favourite couple is the leads, usually I find side couples more interesting.
8. Still sometimes think about the moment when XYC said to this irritating lady (Chen Xiao - the lady who was in love with XYC): “When you are suffering you want everyone to suffer more than you, when LX suffers, she just wants to feel a little better”. Loved this soo freaking much.
9. I find satisfying how LX talks back to her grandpa and her aunt. She's not afraid of them and I love it so much! I see her as a strong human being. Her "fights" for her family are so freaking good!
Have some more things to say but I think I already said too much (and writing in English is tiring, XYC I’m waiting for my own translation device!!)
Overall, it’s one of my favourite cdramas and I will protect it with my all! <3
I don't like TSS so I'm kinda glad she is not with CY who I like very much ><
