This took me by surprised and I’m liking it a lot!!! So FL father got accused of something by the current emperor, and they all got punished? Because of something FL’s dad did in the past with the past emperor? I got lost here.

It was really sad to see the whole Shen females died by suicide :(. Only the FL survived. That pain must have been so hard to carry.

I love her adopted parents, they are uneducated and doesn’t know much; but they love and care for the FL like their own. How they wanted so badly to save their own real daughter shows that they are loving parents.
