This drama was so real. Many caracters feel like they have been played and betrayed and they act and feel accordingly. Many people will say it’s draggy and will complain about how some caracters act but the truth is their action and behaviours are all the consequences of what they have been through. I guess it feels draggy because it highlights their emotions a whole lot so it feels real. Eventually, everything felt justified.

Also, MingYi and Ji Bozai have been through a lot. Do not lack patience and understanding when watching because the way they act (unilaterally, a lot) and behave are all consequences of all the things they have been through growing up.
MingYi sure grew up in wealth but has always been emotionally neglected and had to win no matter what. That was her fate. She never felt safe to love, to be honest and to be true to herself because she has been taught to suppress all feelings. Hence why you are annoyed at "how she lied and leaded on ML" which I get. MING YI DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO BE LOVED 😃
Ji Bozai has wavering trust. He also needs a lot of time to figure out things and his feelings.
