I can watch Jdrama without dropping them because they’re short. From the other countries I drop faster when I am not entertained. I don’t know about the over top acting, it’s not like Kdrama and Cdrama have amazing actuations. And in kdrama people yell a lot. What attracts me is they are so unique and some plots I think only Japan could bring this story. One of my favorites is Smoking.

Yeah, now with Parasite's success, we'll probably seeing a lot more Hollywood remakes and not just the other way…
Idk why, but I only learned years later that Old Boy 2013 existed. It seems that Old Boy 2013 killed the momentum lol

Il Mare 2000 vs The Lake House 2006, Into the Mirrors 2003 vs Mirrors 2008, My Sassy Girl 2001 vs My Sassy Girl 2008, Addicted 2002 vs Possession 2009, A Tale of Two Sisters 2002 vs The Uninvited 2009.

People may love Asian cinema, but not that crazy about remakes. I think it’s good that Gonjiam has a Seoul-based BH Entertainment to produce.
Save the Green Planet 2003 I don’t know if people are informed that this movie exist. Coincidentally I'm watching this next. I already saw the quiet family from my list.
If people learn about the Korean movies I’m happy. Sorry, I just like movies. I watch new and really old films from different places.

Thank you :)Yeah, I think Taxi Driver is the most popular out of the 3.I also bought it (Blu-Ray) lol, it is such…
I imagine that import would be expensive for me. Current movies are more difficult to find. But, I am waiting my blu-ray of Parasite. People asked a lot for it.
It's my hobby to collect movies. Fortunately there're companies that release old Japanese pictures in box dvd example with 4 movies and 4 cards, pretty package. It is fun to buy them. Stuff from Kurosawa, Ozu etc.

From Korea I have some dvd. Like The Handmaiden, a Tale of Two Sisters, Mother, Memories of Mother and others. Counting all Asian Movies I have more than 200. Majority old. So, I’m used to buy in national websites. I hope you can buy Parasite.

Normally in my country asian movies are only distributed on dvd. There's some in blu-ray, but is rare.

Today we'd call it a sex addicts. The story was based on true criminal history (the woman spend 6 years in prison).…
Oshima is said to be polite and calm during the filming process. The set was vacant is possible to give privacy. But, the society gave a harsh treatment to her because she's a woman. Some years later she went to Europe to live. Who is poor is the society for giving double standards.
IA is not the same as the woman in "Last tango in Paris"
