it's sad to hear they broke up after the show cause of the backlash he was having, even his family was harassed.. people forget they didn't have dating experience.. I liked them together too and felt same about Yi Do

The show is called 'Better Late Than Single' for a reason; none of them had any dating experience, so mistakes were bound to happen. This is just how I saw it: Jeong-mok seemed to idealize Yi-do at first because she felt 'unreachable' to him, while he was unconsciously building a very real foundation of trust with Ji-yeon.When he finally got the chance with Yi-do, they clung to each other in the heat of the moment, but the personality clash became clear once they actually spent time together. It felt like he only then realized that the comfort and trust he already had with Ji-yeon was the true connection. Making a promise he couldn't keep wasn't out of malice, but simply a lack of experience in navigating such new, complex emotions. I hope the cast knows that some of us see their vulnerability and human growth instead of judging them.

this was refreshing, I liked that it was a second season as I just recently finished love at the pavilion and didn't know 😂 first minute in I thought "that's a familiar name" then the tree no doubt anymore 😁 also I liked the no bs kinda style , instead of misunderstandings and confusion there was open communication and understanding without words , making up their own minds instead of mindless following bad choices. idc what anyone else thinks about the show, I liked it.

look many mythes are taken from different cultures and made into movies and shows these days , Disney started that long ago. and yes different versions and adaptions will always follow (I believe that's where mythes come from.. sharing and passing stories) there was one show or movie that showed my country and I just laughed 🤣 I don't even remember what it was. anyway, it's a fantasy idc if they copy from any bible or book if it's interesting, I'm an atheist anyway 😆

I'm not agreeing with this, yes it may tell a story about Arabic mythology but it is still a kdrama , man how many movies I've seen where they put white people where they should have put chinese or whatever.. reversed too and now they made Ariel (northern mythology) black Soo.. there are enough discussion about it. and if u don't like fantasy stories then don't watch them 😔

nothing ever will .. sadly.. I saw it when it aired and still hoping that maybe one day I'll see another masterpiece like this one..

alchemy of souls is still my favorite one so far.. I switched to xianxia untill new ones come out lol but also running out of them now 😂 any historical/costume fantasy I've seen

Fun watch, but it felt like a missed opportunity. The drama focuses on acceptance and romance but never really explores the deeper family history or the reasons behind the unusual events. It could have added so much depth if the story had included a way for the main character to discover the origins and gain some control over her situation. With that same setup, the show could have become a richer fantasy story about love, identity, and personal choice, without losing its rom-com charm.

I love the lvl of spicyness 😆 still respectful but enjoyable

any good recommendation donghua for a noob. I've heard they are good for xianxia fans but too many to choose from and don't know where to start.

I watched it in original sound and I had the same feeling about FL, I agree on all your views u mentioned here.. I'm still halfway but thinking about dropping
