A real disappointment. Started well and every member of the cast did a great job. But the story had a few problems…
Haha I love how opinions vary. I was not drawn at the start but I loved the show as it progressed. This show is not everyone's cup of tea and it's fine if you didn't enjoy it. I'm surprised the directors did an excellent job since I absolutely loved the cinematography.
I'm not a big fan of these go back to the past and fix your relationship dramas. Familiar Wife and this drama…
I partially agree with you and believe that the whole plotline of going back in time to fix relationship mistakes is too far-fetched. But the drama managed to highlight it properly. Remember that the situation in current timeline and going back in time while knowing what your future would like is can affect a person's decisions that they made in the current timeline. Nevertheless you can give this drama a shot since the couple realize their mistakes and communicate more
Aww, I'm a sucker for good slice-of-life romances set in the countryside. The first ep was good and I hope the show develops well. Both leads have adorable dimples hahaha.
I agree. iotnbo looked like it tried to do a lot but at the end did nothing lmao. I agree with true beauty too,…
ugh ikr. My friends were horrified when I told them that I forgot to watch iotnbo after the 11th ep lmao. I kinda forced myself to finish it. And yes, watching light no brainer dramas once in a while is a great stress buster.
Unpopular opinion but I am not a fan of It's okay to not be okay. Sure, the storyline is good and they highlighted issues but I personally felt that the drama dragged on for a good while. While the FL was badass there were moments where she was genuinely annoying lol. I don't hate overrated things as long as I enjoy watching them. True beauty has a basic-ass storyline that's very cliche but it was at least enjoyable lol.
OMG, the amount of hate people give this drama is absolutely mortifying. Like bruh, you're just not capable of understanding the fact that people's emotions are not solely driven by chemistry. Sometimes people just want a semblance of calm in the person that they wish to be together with. So many of you hating on JJ for not choosing SO when he's a POS and making remarks on JJ; calling her a bland character and HY a coward, like there are people irl who are not the best at expressing their emotions. We as humans feel a wide variety of emotions based on circumstances and timings. Some feelings are fleeting, others last a lifetime. Your definition of loving someone can mean romance, off-the-charts chemistry, hotness blah blah but for others, it could simply mean warmth, comfort and silence. JJ and SO sure had chemistry, tension etc but their relationship was toxic. Sure, JJ and HY aren't as reckless as JJ was with SO but their love is the kinda love that grows with time and patience. So don't try and dismiss someone's emotions just because they don't fit your definitions.
So.... I feel like the ending was shortened A LOT. Felt like they just wanted to wrap it up nicely with a bow…
I completely agree. The end left me unsatisfied. This drama had a really good premise and could've been so much better if they hadn't shortened it to just 10 episodes with just 25 min runtime. At the end I got to know nothing about hongyo and the show had zero character development.
