Sorry about getting the actress character mixed up! Please change Soel Hee's image to outshine the seductress Ye Jin. Please give her a new hair style, natural looking makeup.and more stylish fashion -- not necessarily short as Ye Jin but a simple elegant style just above the knee. Please take off the socks and granny shoes off her feet!!! I believe this is what her boyfriend Joo Man is suggesting to Soel Hee when he took her shopping. Again, please help Soel Hee and make Joo Man honest with his feelings. Either he still loves Soel Hee or he is thinking of starting a new relationship with the seductress Ye Jin. This sounds like an old boring and cruel love triangle being created again. Please don't do that Mr. director. If Joo Man and Soel Hee are going to break up, please let it be between the two of them and not a third party. That is so tiresome.
Lucky Romance is a sweet and fun drama but, Hwang Jung Eum's character, bo nui, was self-persecuting, weak, pitiful and tiring! The character was too dependent upon the words of a shaman. Bo Nui appeared to have no mind of her own to intelligently figure out things. She was very stubborn and would not listen to anyone. Sprinkling salt around her work area to get rid of bad spirits?! Come on!! She should have finally opened her mind and eyes and gotten rid of the shaman misinforming and feeding into her ridiculous superstitions. Other than that, the show was funny and entertaining. Down with shamans, diseases, dementia, amnesia and love triangles.
I Can't take it anymore!! "Beautiful Secrets" could have been a better drama if it were not for All the unnecessary weeping, whining, and nasal high pitch voices of the female actors. Their weeping characters ruin just about all Taiwanese and Chinese dramas. How annoying and aggravating!! When will they stop acting like children and become mature adults? "Real" mature women (even in dramas) do not cry, whine and talk at the top of their voices all the time. I'm done with Taiwan and Chinese dramas even though I love some of my favorite actors and actresses. I am through with it all of it! Good Bye! I will continue watching the more mature Korean and Japanese dramas that have practically eliminated the outbursts of loud crying or no crying at all. Dropping a few tears and very occasional crying is all they allow in order not to become a turn-off. If the two were anything like Taiwanese and Chinese dramas, I would drop them also and go back to watching American and England dramas. Wake up Taiwan and China and learn from Korea and Japan!!!
Why are so many Taiwanese dramas based on foolishness and immaturity? When are fully grown actors going to be…
Yes! That's right! I failed to mention the loud, noisy track music. Many times the dialog is drowned out until the viewers cannot hear what the actors are saying. I loved "Autumn Concerto" with Vanness Wu and Annie Ayn. However, the music soundtrack frustrated me to the max! It is such great acting the music almost ruined the show. I stuck with it because of Vanness, Annie, and Chris.
Why are so many Taiwanese dramas based on foolishness and immaturity? When are fully grown actors going to be allowed to move on from high school personalities into adulthood? The drama, Love Cuisine, has some of my favorite actors and actresses but they were not given the opportunity to use their talent to the fullest. Please! No more whining, pouting and teenaged short skirts on late twenties actresses. They should appear a little more mature and more professionally and elegantly dressed for their age. So,please, directors, writers and producers stop causing adult actors to act childish and also playful and teasing love scenes. Allow the love scenes to be intentional with more realistic hugs, kisses and better loving chemistry between the lead actors. They all seem to be the same with no imagination of producing something different from someone else. Many of the Taiwanese dramas are so routine and boring. I am trying my best not to give up on Taiwanese dramas and will give them one more chance before making my decision on watching any of their dramas anymore.
I did not like this drama! Although Jasper Liu is one of my favorite actors, this did him no justice. I thought I would enjoy it but the overtones and innuendos of two males on a bed performing sex and sweet talking each other in episode 2 was too much for me to watch any more of this drama. What were the director and writer thinking?! That part had nothing to do with Jasper possessing the other male actors body. If Taiwanese directors and writers want to "Learn" how to go about possessing another person's body, then they should watch the "Hit" Korean drama, "Oh, My Ghostess" to teach them.
I have seen Uee in other dramas and she just does not have the charisma of a lead actress. There is no strong or real close chemistry between she and lead actor Sung Joon. Although Sung Joon has proven himself as a good lead actor, he was coupled with someone less experienced in playing romantic scenes. At the moment, I think Uee would be better as a second or third lead until she gains more experience to carry such a heavy role. She's not yet comfortable with kissing whereas Sung Joon seems to be very comfortable and relaxed in kissing other lead actresses--but not with Uee.
I can't take "When I See You Again." I tried my best to watch this drama but left it at episode 9. The female lead character, A n Xi, was too infantile for a grown woman in her mid to late twenties. She was playing a cruel cat and mouse game with You Qain emotions by making him anxious about whether or not she liked him. she was acting and talking like an immature seven year old who had not discovered that she is now an adult?!
This drama could have been better if there had been less whining and crying by female actors. However, it was entertaining. I love Danson Tang who is one of my favorite Taiwanese actors. There was too much teasing with intimacy and not enough passion in the romantic scenes. If they are going to kiss then let them kiss!! Not just barely touching lips but a realistic kiss. It did not make sense for the writer(s) and director to create a divorce simply because the wife had a terminal condition and the confusing break-up between Jia Wei and Xiao Tong. Please do better writing Love scenes -- without all the crying emotions. Dropping a tear or two would be Ok. All the childish whining and crying does not befit grown mature adults. The skirt length
On some of the actresses could be dropped a few inches also. Otherwise, my rating for this drama is 8.5.
Loved this drama! Loved seeing familiar faces of well known actors who always perform very well. Would like to see most of the tears minimized in all future Taiwanese and Chinese dramas. Most tears are not necessary or needed in many of scenes. Otherwise, thumbs up for this drama. It was very touching, comical, and somewhat romantic - which needed a little more intimacy and heavier kissing between the two lead actors Man Qing and Yu En. Why play around with it? Good drama!
I loved Discovery of Love! The ending episode was fantastic and the way a romantic drama should end. Yo Reum and Tae Ha belonged together from beginning to end and so did Dr. HaJin and ahn ha rim. Good entertainment! Hope to see more great acting like it with Eric, Yoo Mi, Sung Joon, Seul Gi, and Hyun Min working together. The confrontations and interactions between Eric and Joon were great and realistically performed. The cast was awesome!
I love this show! Can hardly wait for the next episodes. Love the friction between the characters of Ji Hyun Woo and Shin Sung Rok over Choi Choon (Jung Eun Ji). The competition between them is not so heartless and ruthless that it becomes unbearable to watch. Would love to see more of these three actors together in other dramas!
I loved "In Her Heels." The storyline was very good and the mutual confession of love between Hong Jong Hyun and Han Seung Yeon was awesome! I'm happy the love triangle was very brief and short lived for a good loving ending between Hong and Han.
