the proposal scene was amazing to me. I had read that he was a guitarist and singer and he certainly went for…
Cheers. I now have Viki, but watched the scene on YouTube. There must have been some reason why Netflix wouldn't play it. I now have several YT videos of him playing guitar and singing - he's very talented. xx
I loved Henry Lau's performance - didn't know his skills with the violin, but recently saw him play on a YT video from 23 Jul 2020, KBS Star - he shone! He is a brilliant performer!
Can't believe I watched all 52 eps, I was sucked in by the drama, though. I asked my Korean friend about the fuss made over the age gap (is this a K thing?), and she said much of the show was "nonsense" :) I was really annoyed at the end, when the 'proposal scene' was cut, so I couldn't hear the guitar playing of Ji Hyun Woo! He's a brilliant guitarist - why cut that scene? Was it a Netflix thing? Will have to try to find on YT.
Not to ruin your mood but the fl was 16 and ml was 23 when this drama was shot. Thank you so much
hmm...I remember being a 16 yo girl, and being madly in love with a 24 yo man I was dating. Women mature much sooner than men. That gap is not so vast at their ages. However, if she were younger, then it would be a problem. ..
it's Disney plus orignal, do you think Netflix will have this, people have to think when original word use company…
Okay. I can accept your frustration, but there are many of us who are unaware of the machinations of entertainment companies. I only use Netflix, as I find plenty of content on that platform, and can't afford to rent more platforms. Just be patient with us ignorant people. :) I am looking forward to visiting Korea for the first time in October - hopefully I will bump into some KDrama stars - haha....Have a great day.
I agree with your critique. As an Australian, I was unaware of the 18 May uprising - and felt ashamed that I knew nothing about it when I was 21 years old (1980), until watching this programme. I sought out documentaries on the Gwanju Rebellion - such brave people! The docos made Youth of May all the more poignant. xx
