Man, I seriously gotta give it up for Song Weilong’s acting here. The moment he didn’t pass the exam — that tear just sitting there in his eyes, his hands clenched into fists, and you could literally feel the revenge, the disappointment, the pain, the defeat, all of it, just through his eyes… it was so beautifully done. Tbh, in that moment, I felt it in my bones. Like, I understood him with every fiber of my being. forget it! It’s just a drama! But damn, some scenes really make you relate on a whole different level.
Tbh, when I see a bunch of haters coming here and talking crap, I’m just like… how do some people have this much free time? Idk if you’ve read The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Manson, but he says people’s brains are wired to find something to worry about — if there’s no real problem, they’ll just make one up. And that’s exactly what’s happening: a bunch of people’s whole concern becomes “the drama Stereo is airing at the same time, so I gotta hate on this one.”
Seriously, forget ‘em. They’re just aimless, jobless people with no real problems — acting like they don’t even have a life.
This show is seriously gorgeous. I’m from Iran. Tbh, I’m not really into super slow, heavy drama series, but this one is just beautiful. Out of the 4 episodes I’ve seen so far, the most beautiful moment for me was when Chen Yi, after all that trying, running around, and even sleeping outside the house for so long, still couldn’t pass the entrance exam. Doesn’t matter how much hate this show gets or how many jobless haters gather around to tank the rating and all that… This series shows you that you’re not necessarily gonna get what you want just because you busted your ass and put in all that work. You’re not guaranteed to reach it after all that blood, sweat, and tears. But it also tells you that maybe you won’t get it tomorrow — but one day, you’ll get a reward a thousand times better because of all the times you stood your ground and refused to give up. I usually just follow the comments on kisskh, but today I had to drop a comment and share my thoughts because of this drama.
