HJP answered DM when she was talking to NDS and the both of them kept saying what, what. Didnt you notice NDS expression. He changed then. He asked DM what she likes about him and 80% of it was all HJP. You didn't notice him being depressed after? Then also when HJP asked him how much DM found out, didn't you see his reaction and how he acts like HJP is now the enemy. Remember that HJP wanted to end everything the very first day DM met NDS. He told NDS to say he has a girlfriend so he would never have to meet her again and everything would be put to rest. But NDS did the opposite and gave her his contact, extending the whole thing. And although HJP wanted to keep the secret from DM and was bothered about her being told and being disappointed, he had no plan on stopping the grandmother from telling her until NDS made the suggestion of turning the lie into the truth and keeping his part in it a secret forever. Also when NDS was reading him those letters he smiled and agreed with DM. He relates with her and at least enjoyed reading her letters. It's too soon to conclude that he didn't invest himself in the letters.
