I guess you are not used to people being nice. Daon smiles a lot, his expression is always alive and full. He may have a problem with being too nice and giving too much of himself but he is a good person at heart. He shows emotions the most in this story, has the most back story and conflict than any of the other characters.
We don't know one thing about Taekyung's life, family and the only challenge Taekyung has is that his first love rejected him. Shinwoo has the one backstory, that at some point in time he was bullied for giving a bracelet to a boy. His only conflict? Will he get love or will he not.
Daon has to overcome his mental program of always saying yes to people and seeking validation from their feelings towards him. He has never liked a guy before so he has to come to terms with his sexuality. His parents are neglectful so even though he takes first in school, he feels no joy from it. He has a lot more story and a lot more conflict and therefore more room for development. Does that sound like a robot to you?

Yeah. I just don't get that. I mean I've read someone call him manipulative. I wanted to roast them. There isn't a manipulative bone in his body where as Daon supporters have never said anything bad about Shinwoo. I wanted to point out so bad how annoying Shinwoo was when he got jealous and behaved like a five year old ignoring Tae and pouring soup all over Daon, but I didn't say anything. I just don't know why we can like who we like without trying to demean other characters.

That's what I am saying. It hasn't even been a week since Tae cried over Daon, he just turbs around and starts liking Shinwoo because the of the text messages? Not gonna lie, those text messages were gold but if you go back to when it was Daon and Tae, you could see how smitten he was with Daon, now that's over.
Sinking or not, I'm not jumping this ship and I can't be on the both ship. Oh well.
I've never liked tsudere characters, except for Arthit from Sotus so Shinwoo was never my option, so the like to dislike troupe isn't what I have a problem with.

Since ep 13 I have been skipping scenes like crazy. Only Daon matters to me.

Spare yourself honey. If I know what I know now, I would have dropped it too. Not about TK, I think he is interesting enough although what has me going is Daon but I would have saved myself a lot of heartache if I had quit early, now I'm too addicted to leave. You know, pain is also another form of pleasure.

I think everyone has the right to comment whether in ep 1 or ep 16 or haven't even watched it yet. Also it is a dislike to like. Sure Shinwoo liked Tae before but Tae didn't exactly like him in the beginning.

I like everything you said up to the last part. I don't want a season two where they drag this particular love triangle. I prefer it done and over with now.

Just saying it as it is not because of what he says he is but how he is with Daon. There's zero indication that he might feel that way. That aside, it is necessary for every character in the show to be paired up whether with a girl or boy. Having Namgung as a sincere friend is better than just another love interest.

Something bugs me. During one episode, in TK's voice over he said he wasn't able to become friends with Daon. (This is the voice narrating the story. ) That's weird because it seems Shinwoo is endgame. And if they weren't friends, what are they?

I might be overthinking this because the writers may have just used that as a ploy to fool us like they did in ep 14 preview when they made it seem like Daon was telling Shinwoo he couldn't be his friend anymore when actually in ep 14 he said that to So Hee.

You know what would be best, if Daon doesn't like Tae as much either. That would just be fair.

Lol. I hate it so much because I can't stop thinking about it. I want to know what Daon has to say to Tae. After saying it he looked really relieved.

Still looks best when he is happy though. I was hoping they'd give us closure this ep but they're still pulling us along. Not fair.

You are actually right. I didn't think of this. I was do disappointed with the way Daon and Tae just stopped having scenes together.

Well said. I was never on Shinwoo's side but I couldn't hate him. He is okay, I just like Daon more and I don't want to believe that Tae's feelings can change so easily but it is what it is and no matter what, I'll still treasure this series. I just hope they don't manage to change my feelings about the series this remaining episodes.
