Daon admittedly had a lot more to worry about than Tae doesn't he? He has the school, his parents plus he isn't even sure how he feels. His mind is in chaos. Just thinking about what he was thinking makes my head hurt. It isn't easy for both of them but I cut Daon a lot more slack than I do Tae. Tae should have reached out more, to me. He should have tried to actually see how difficult it is for Daon. He reached out once. To me Daon didn't want to give Tae a halfhearted answer. He didn't have an answer to give but what can he do? He can help. He can do something for Tae which was what writing that study note was. It was the same as saying I don't have the answers right now. Sure Tae has the right to refuse the gesture as you said but Daon did something. He also worried about Tae after their talk when Tae called him a bad person. He thought it would be better for Shinwoo to be with Tae and take care of him because he couldn't do it himself. As far as reaching out goes, I want to think that Daon tried. Tae didn't. Daon wasn't being selfish, that boy doesn't have a selfish bone in his body. He is the type that would pull his shoes off and offer it to another person then walk barefeet. He was confused, afraid and alone. Expectations piled on him. I would like to see anyone do better in his situation.

Tae shows way more selfishness than any of the two characters to me. Sure wanting friends is not a selfish feeling, I just wanted to point that out because you made it seem like his niceness to Shinwoo was because of Shinwoo himself. I think it is better to say that because of Tae's poor social understanding, and the fact that he isn't used to thinking about other people, he comes across as a little selfish. Let's look at it this way, normally when two people whose relationship are being shunned are exposed, what should be their reaction. Those who have a lot to lose would hesitate to move forward in coming out, those who don't care will try to follow their partner and try to make it easier on them, that wasn't the case for Tae and Daon. I'm not going to get too much into it but I just wished that Tae had done a little more than wait. Daon has taken steps, Shinwoo too but Tae just waits for them so it's a little annoying.

*he didn't look for Daon because he was worried about how he was and what he was going through but because he wanted to know how Daon felt about him. * Should have added that above.

Let me politely point out that although Tae waited for Daon and looked for Daon, he was hoping to get some kind of favorable answer from him which he didn't get and that disappointed him so much he said Daon was a bad person. He was still waiting for that favorable answer which was why when Daon tried to bring everything back to normal by offering to help him for his midterm he turned it down. This translats that Tae didn't want to think about what Daon is going through, didn't care to understand him at all unless it affected him. Now if we talk about his being nice to Shinwoo, that wasn't anything special as he was simply trying to fufil his wish of having friends. In the beginning he thought he didn't want to be friends with Shinwoo but he needed to be accepted by Shinwoo to join the club.
I am not saying that Tae hasn't done nice things, I am he has shown level of self-centeredness that I missed because I was too focused on the love triangle.
Someone commented about Taekyung being selfish and after going back to look at it, I have to concour. Taekyung didn't nothing for nobody. Daon was nice to him and treated him specially but when he stopped for one hot second, he was disappointed and acted like only his feelings matter. Never mind the fact that Daon was having an existential crisis. Never mind that he had a lot more to lose than the obscure albeit somewhat adorable Shinwoo. Nevermind that his world as he knows it was about to come crashing around his ears. No, Daon is actually too horrible for needing a moment to sort out his feelings. ( Literally two freaking days) Then let's not forget Shinwoo doing everything for him. Taekyung never did nothing for either one of the guy who likes him. We shouldn't be asking who should get Tae but who Tae can get because he is the lesser one here, not a damn prize. Shinwoo and Daon are the real prize here. (Not technically a prize, just saying) And in case you didn't notice, I'm team DAON. Bye.
#DaonTaekyungforever It's getting closer and closer to my heartbreak ðŸ˜, I'm praying for a miracle, Taekyung…
#DaonTaekyung I love them so much together. Watching the first part of the series still feels good despite knowing how it is likely to end. If Shinwoo and Tae end up I am just going to take it that Tae never liked Daon that much to begin with. It is okay to have your heart flutter for someone else once in a while but you cried so hard as if your heart was literally breaking two days ago but now you love Shinwoo? No way, not after the staring at Daon. The lighting up whenever Daon enters the room. The smiles *ugh my heart* If it is that easy for him to move on to Shinwoo, not even a week later then I've got to say, his love was pretty weak and my man Daon deserves better. Daon is going to go all the way now, and lose T_T but he would still win in the end by finally standing up for what he wants after all. Team DAON no matter what!
I think Shin Woo feels more comfortable expressing himself through text and acts of kindness. That is how he shows…
Nah he gave an answer as to why he did that. (Just watched it again because I am a masochist*facepalm*) he said it was because he wanted Tae to realize how he felt when he saw it. It would be too much for the Shy Shinwoo to outrightly admit his feelings.
It's kinda werid that Shinwoo sent those messages while knowing that Tae couldn't read them because of his phone but I guess that's how he is. Easily embarrassed he would rather do it when Tae can't see it.
The way they are prolonging this, I think Daon actually doesn't have any romantic feelings for Taekyung. He just…
That maybe but Daon hasn't denied it yet plus why did he think about whether he likes Tae when Tae told him he can be honest with him. I think Daon likes Tae, but he has so much fear that the feeling just isn't strong enough to overcome. He tells Shinwoo to be with Tae without a fight because he is used to giving his things away. Remember he said nothing belongs to me. He doesn't assert himself. The poor boy is so deprived and he doesn't even know it so will he even know when to reach out for what he likes?
Gah. This show tricked me. I only started watching it because I thought it was complete. I should have done my…
I was waiting for it to finish so I can binge watch. Since it's a web series and they don't usually have too many episodes, once I saw that ten eps have released, I jumped to watch it. I really regret it now.
I actually think that's Shinwoo, personally. I recognize his hand, and plus, he's worn the occasional cardigan…
The hand can't belong to Shinwoo. There's no reason in the world for him to want to touch Daon like that. It can only be So Hee or Tae kyung but the hand is definitely male so it's Tae.
It seems you don't know what big fat chance means so I suggest you look it up.That aside, I just want to point…
I'm not a fan of Shinwoo so this blows past but I can appreciate the passion you have for his character. For me Daon is the most interesting character.
I have hardly seen anyone saying they are happy with what Daon is going through. No offence, but from what I have…
It's not that complicated or serious, at least not serious enough to be annoying but even though they don't explicitly say they are happy about what Daon is going through, they clearly see it as a good thing because it gives Shinwoo the chance to shine and be there for Tae. I know they all feel for Daon... well not all. You may not have seen but I've read comments where they undermine Daon's struggles, made it seem like he wasn't worth it because he just couldn't do what they thought he should, like it is easy to accept your orientation which is so shunned by the majority of the world. And sometimes I wanted to as them, how many of you tell or show people that you like watching BL. Sure your close friends may know but you don't announce it, you certainly don't even let them catch you watching it in public. This is just watching BL and supporting gay and the LGBT community. How much more harder do you think it is for the person who is actually gay. Anyway, my point is just because you haven't seen it does not mean it doesn't exist.
