Unpopular opinion here - but I liked it. I almost didn't watch it because of the said "toxic relationship. People are a bit too over sensitive and it feels like most live covered in pink colored glasses. I didn't find it toxic. Just some children unable to express their feelings. Probably due to the fact that NB saw her mother's failed relationship and JE's mother was never home. She is scared of getting hurt and he doesn't know how to love. JE gave her handmade gifts and took care of her. He also asked for her permission. Everything was mutual. I really don't get why so many keep bringing up the word toxic. We are all toxic then.
This felt real. All the struggles, the misunderstanding, their dialogues and insecurities. The way their feelings were on the tip of the tongue, but they were both scared to make the first move.
I put a 9/10 just to raise the score a bit, because I found that most of those who put the low ratings are the ones that watched the web toon and weren't happy with the way it was remade. But it is a solid 8 for me. The story was sometimes slow, but it was a good watch.
