I'm not sure how many books 2ha will be, but it's 311 chapters plus extras so quite lengthy (longer than all Harry Potters volumes together for sure). Thanks for explaining! I love 2ha for its detailed descriptions and how it goes into detail about characters' feelings and thoughts. Yeah, I've heard that TTJ is totally different in books, way much darker, so that would be interesting to read. But I'm getting impression that the book is just not that great so probably will skip on it, but will see later.

I have never read the novel that TTEOTM is based on, but from what I've seen the drama it is nothing like 2HA (the novel that inspired Immortality). The stories are very different. 2HA is an absolute masterpiece! I have read some other Chinese novels, but nothing can beat it for me. It deserves to have a faithful adaptation (well the romance will be censored, but I'm hoping the plot will be conveyed well).

Just maybe try to skim through it to get general gist of things. There were parts of the dream arc I ended up enjoying pretty much despite finding it quite boring and annoying at the beginning. In the future episodes characters themselves will be referring to dream arc a lot so it's important to have some understanding of it.
Just a question about the novel. I am considering giving it a chance. I have only read danmei novels before. I just wonder how spicy the book is? Are there a lot of bed scenes? I tried watching Lie to Love, but just wasn't impressed with the plot and the chemistry between main couple (didn't like the main actress either). I just felt bored most of the time and dropped the show after a few episodes. But that is just my personal opinion.

I watch mainly for the story and Tantai Jin. I feel like his character is written really well and Luo Yunxi did an amazing job portraying him. For me personally plot was the best at the beginning and towards the end of the drama. Around first ten episodes were very interesting and action packed. I loved how the plot developed. The drama was a bit draggy in the middle. Some character behaviour and actions were illogical. Honestly, I was tired from never ending misunderstandings. But towards the end the plot became really interesting to me and it looks like the things are gonna get even more intense! Can't wait to see the rest of the drama! So overall I am enjoying this show a lot, even though there were times it was a bit draggy and illogical, I'm not regretting watching the drams at all.
34 and 35 were such powerful episodes. Ones of the best! Frankly, I felt a bit disappointed with the show at times (felt draggy, illogical behaviour of characters, lock of communication etc.). But I'm really enjoying how the things are right now. I feel that the writing has improved a lot. The main couple is finally communicating, there's no more dumb missunderstandings. I love how they are willing to sacrifice one for another. I found two last episodes really touching and emotional. I love how TTJ fights hard to stay on the righteous path, even when everyone hates on him and doesn't believe his true intentions. I find the plot very interesting now.
Asking again, where can I get to download this drama in good quality without subtitles? As recommended I checked Mkvdrama. org , but The episodes had Chinese subtitles 😒
