Ep 9 isn't at par with previous episodes (maybe because of editing and we dont have much of those lovely flashbacks). But I'd say its saving grace are the beautiful moments between Ung and his mom, and the acting of KDM and CWS during that confrontation scene. I think they delivered it very well as they never went out of character despite the high tension

It's not realistic to get them together that suddenly. It takes time, lots of reflection, and communication. They are pretty much done with the reflection part driven by that impulsive kiss. The next episodes should see them actually communicating with each other, but I guess that's not that easy either so they need the love triangle as a catalyst to this proceas

I'd like to think that it's because of the highs of ep 8 that this episode seems underwhelming. It's also not the direction I would have wanted after the kiss, but let's see how ep 10 turns out. I'm keeping faith on the OBS team

that's an interesting point. I'm curious about what's going on in CW's mind during his "decision-making" process. I'll suspend my judgment for now and see how that abandonment incident actually affect the relationship he wants from YS

i so agree. JU feelings for YS should have already been done on ep. 5 and never to return again. Maybe they could just look to it as some sort of "crush" feeling of the past, but to actually choose to further develop it in the story? That's just awkward

I felt like this Jiung arc is unnecessary and just distracts from the more interesting character and emotional development in the story. And what's with CU's further holding back? They already KISSED!!! That should have already been the impetus to no longer look back and face it all. I'm afraid this is just dragging the momentum that's been wonderfully building for 8 episodes already. They are also setting up some further plot (e.g. Jiung mother, CU's childhood recollection) which could further mess up this momentum. I really hope this drama won't completely fall apart towards the end cause I love love love the first half!!!

When CU insisted YS to apologize and saying all she has to do is come to him and apologize cause he'll be the one to give in in the end. I fell in love with CU that moment.

The story spans 10 years starting from when they were high school to present whem they're already working

That impeccable beautiful ending scene, to my mind, will go down as one of the most unforgettable romantic scenes in KDrama history.
I was actually already getting annoyed to the never ending tension and avoidance of CW and YS with each other throughout 90% of the episode. I thought all those were just dragging and no longer add to character development. Until that divine ending scene happens. What a satisfying pay off to all those introspections and emotional investments!
