Your Name Engraved Herein was beautiful in a lot of ways. This movie follows the story of two male students in an all-boys Catholic school ; A-han, and a bold new student, Birdy. While being in the school's music band and through trips, they grow closer overtime, until a female student comes into Birdy's life.
The show focuses on a lot of themes, such as homophobia and family/school pressure.
The cinematography, the color grading that fits with all the scenes, the scenario, the dialogues...
It broke something in me, because this shows the reality of LGBTQ+ people in Taiwan in the 80s, and it's based on the story of the director.
Definitely a masterpiece.
I kind of feel like this movie was a fever dream, but not necessarily in a bad way. I should rewatch someday.
