She may not have the greatest buzz of fans and variety shows but she always creates a buzz within the professional circle of the acting industry, they have their eyes on her. She doesn't even have to try so hard to create a buzz and that's what sheer talent is all about. Strikingly enough all the "professional" talk about her and the mass buzz BWS is like a promotion for Lovely Runner even as it ended over a month ago. This is even a better promotion than that of TVn's. It is a real time encapsulation of the aftereffects of this series ( dare I say it's going to be a classic?).
I feel like KHY is an acting giant in that small body of hers. I know a lot of people are going crazy for BWS (and he worked hard for it) but the brilliance of KHY is just unmatched. I liken her to Meryl Streep, she wasn't the "it" actress of her time nor was she the highest paid actress ( nor was she having a lot of ads) but boy was she a trusted actress( she had a lot bumps in the road because she didn't have the "look") and the respectability she holds is proven by her decades long career. Only time will tell how THE Kim Hye Yoon will turn out. Now I'm awaiting if she's going to be in the Forbes list again.

Kim Hye Yoon is a rare gem for her generation (and not all generations do you have this kind of actors). What makes her rare is the very fact she can capture the audience without even saying a thing. Her crying scenes without lines as if speaks hidden words to viewers. It brings nostalgia for old school romance. She doesn't want to 'act' pretty on crying scenes ( though I have to admit her tears are beautiful )or on any scenes. When people say she overreacts, she only does it when it is needed but never cringey. That's the art of acting in romcoms. It is not easy for any actor to switch a happy emotion to something poignant in one setting. It is only done well by veterans but the very fact she delivered such emotions makes me think she's an important actress to look out for. She's the only one in her generation ( according to k media).
This is only her third work as a lead. Just give her a good script ( I loathe her rumored next project) and she'll shine. She is just *chef's kiss* Brilliant.
