Quite frankly, this was one of the most disappointing year for Korean cinema. Apart from a few movies like Decision to Leave and 20th Century Girl, most of the movies were quite disappointing. Movies like The Roundup, Seoul Vibe, Confidential Assignment 2 etc were very mediocre, and solely relied on star power of actors rather than on good story.
Finished watching it, and quite frankly, it was a serious letdown after the enjoyable first part. The only saving grace was the trio of Hyun Bin, Yoo Hae Jin and Daniel, and Yoona in some parts. But the story and actions were a big disappointment. Hope next part would be good.
This is surprisingly a very good drama. I didn't had high expectations from it, but two episodes in and I'm hooked to this drama. On the another note, why does Kwon Yul always accepts such roles?
Even if we assume that Naksu will come out of her body, but still how can she gain her original physical form as her corpse is already burned down. That's why it doesn't make sense that Go Yoon Jung will be in Season 2 and not Jung So-min.
I am in love with this drama. I loved the politics and how there was very little emphasis on the romance part.
There was not much bloodshed or swashbuckling fights, but pure politics, which made this show more enjoyable. The leads have done an absolutely amazing job. Watched this because of Kang Han Na and so happy that she hit it out of the park, but the surprise package has been Park Ji-yeon who just shined.
Also, the cinematography and the OST were amazing.
Have to say, I didn't had high hopes from this drama when I started watching it. But it turned out to be a very entertaining drama. There was the right amount of comedy, mystery, a bit of saeguk feel, and also sometime very emotional. That being said, I think ep. 16 was a mess. Lots of hits and misses and clearly failed to make an impact. But the last 10 minutes or so redeemed the bad writing.
This is a masterpiece. One of the most beautiful and realistic kdramas that I've ever seen. Kudos to the actors, the writer, the director and the entire crew for making this drama so impactful and memorable.
So i bumped up the rating from 8.0 to 9.0 just because of the ending. At first, I was skeptical of the story, seeing every character was made a suspect. But the ending really worked.

This is just so hilarious and entertaining.
Liked how they are focusing on the yips of athletes

I never understood the motive.
Tired of them now.
