Tbh it might sound bad but I do love arthdal but it's way worse their protagonist is literally like didn't do…
Tell me how many fight scenes there are and how long they last. For sure this drama is not for 20 episodes, with 16 maybe would be better. There are some episodes that don't make much sense repeating the same thing over and over again... when the spectators already knew what was happening. That's why the sequel is reduced to 10 episodes. I think they get the message. Probably, viewers who only watch K-Dramas, for them those dramas are special, since there are very few of them and that's why they react positively... but if you go to a C-Drama and compare it, only with CGI, any average drama far exceeds it. K-Dramas are specialists in modern dramas, while C-Dramas are specialists in 'historical', 'wuxia' and 'fantasy' dramas. I think it's a good idea to explore this type of genre and keep producing new and better ones. Like the impact that 'Arthdal Chronicles' produced to us.
Arthdal Chronicles (still waiting Season 2) > Alchemy of Souls
I hoped so much of this drama... my hopes gone after 3 episodes, no words. I still don't know why in the genres doesn't appears 'comedy' and 'political', when most of the scenes has 'comedy' and 'political'. The scenes of "magic" (fights) are so short that you can not blick your eyes if you wanna see it properly or copies of the same scene, a real deception in my opinion. This drama has more 'political' and 'romance' than 'magic' and another drama wasted with so much potential, here we go again. I hope that they STOP the political struggle with the cringe scenes and in the sequel they act more SERIOUS, like this drama deserves.
P.S: 10/10 acting. Still thinking how to rating the whole drama, because the last episode changed it my mind with the preview of the sequel. Also, the best episode is the last.
"Continue the Path, maybe you will find the Light"
Not sure if you watched 'Joy of Life' but if you think is better, let me know. Is true that Joy of Life comes…
Well, is a Sci-Fi drama, the Wuxia is just insane, yeah there are political in the middle, but what has to do with the Wuxia scenes? The political makes it more interesting. A Masterpiece.
the best wuxia drama in years!! how can I contribute to this drama? subscribe on something maybe?
Not sure if you watched 'Joy of Life' but if you think is better, let me know. Is true that Joy of Life comes from 2019/2020, but still is the best one that I ever watched... Still waiting for S2.
Of course, a star in the future. But next time use spoiler tag...
haha, relax... you didn't spoiled me, since I write the a similar comment a few days before than you, because I was following the drama day by day, but I used spoiler TAG. Greetings :)
