Hi, GUYS I HAVE A QUESTION...............❓❓❓
This may sound really dumb, but I'm kinda new to this and I don't understand the Chinese Paladin series, AT ALL. So could someone explain what this is, if all are interconnected.
Like one thing I really don't understand is how Sword and Fairy, and then Sword and Fairy 4 are airing at the same time, shouldn't they have a particular order of release, why is six coming at the same time as 4.
Also why are they going to two different platforms, this is on tenecent while the other is on iqiyi.
Please guide me

like i get its not a novel, its a game adaptation, but are they really not connected??? and why 2 different studios

Um I might be the small voice of dissention here but I have dropped dramas after 3 episodes (tried really hard…
I totally agree with what you're saying. Reviews play a huge role in helping others to watch a certain drama or not. my only point is that sometimes when you're giving an official review without having seen the entire drama, you would be unfair to the creators.
In my defense, there have been many cases where the reviews were bad for a certain drama by the people who hadn't watched the whole thing, while the ones who watched it completely liked it and that drama ended up being the one i enjoyed a lot.
So all i'm saying is, the official review should only be given by people who have watched the drama entirely or at least more than 70% because they would provide a clearer picture of how the show actually was.
As far as those are concerned, who drop off mid way should give their opinion because this will help the production houses understand that their drama was good but not perfect and also highlight the places they went wrong ... but a full review without completing and that also while the drama is airing....

honestly, i didnt want to speak up about it but i think now i have to. See, writing an official review on the website is everyone's right, everyone can freely express their thoughts, FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION, but the fact that im seeing such rating scores on official review submissions continuously is kinda making me mad.
I get it, all of us had higher expectations but PEPOPLE, it's barely been a week since it started airing, its picking up pace, its getting better, so do share your opinions but in the comments section, wait for the drama to reach a particular point before giving your reviews on the review section, simply shunning it through reviews isn't right only because you're mad.
Even I'm a lil disappointed but please please please give it some space to proceed, the problems are not hidden everyone can see them, for all those out there::::::

YOU MAY OR MAY NOT LIKE THIS DRAMA, BUT AT LEAST START IT AND GIVE IT SOME SPACE, IT'S GETTING BETTER. If by the end of 20 something episodes it still doesn't click to you then give it a bad review, but i find the bad reviews right now slightly unfair

I can see why others are saying that the leads have no chemistry but like the novel it gets better as they get…
agreed

ok so 12 episodes in and im going to give my honest review, i've became part of the chinese drama audience pretty recently, like a couple of months ago (when the kdramas started their decline and the chinese dramas started getting better) and i have been a huge HUGE wang hedi fan.

So basically when i came across this drama, I just immediately got hooked, I purposefully avoided the novel, but the photoshoots, the leaks and the images that were released were so INTENSE, that this was the drama i was most impatiently waiting for. But then I found out it was going to Mango TV and there half of my expectations were killed but then the director, he's the same director who was the team of Love O2O, Eternal Love, One and Only .... so i still kept my hopes high. The production house matters a lot, but the same Mango TV produced Fireworks of My Heart that i enjoyed SO Much plus the cast of this drama.

So maybe its my fault since I haven't read the novel, but i was expecting this to be a pretty intense drama in terms of romance (and it might get there, we still have 24 episodes - plus the leaks, although I think some might be now censored lol ... but im trusting these actors for choosing these scripts) And i expected it to be handled a lot more seriously.

Some watchers might disagree with me, and nothing to take from the acting, we all know how well Bai Lu and Wang Hedi CAN ACT, they are great, but the two main characters, we didn't get the moment where there attraction towards each other really starts, that particular moment, maybe i'm wrong, this has nothing to do with the acting but the execution of the drama, those annoying camera angles and weird as hell zoom ins. Like i'm simultaneously watching Rising with the Wind, and though i skim that drama more than this, they managed to capture the moments where the attractions starts to now the characters pursuing each other. Same goes for Hidden Love thisyear.

I know Bai Lu and Didi have great chemistry, its obvious from the Bazaar photoshoot - they click so well, I think the production didn't manage to capture and execute the chemistry onto the screens which the actors were giving. Anyhow I'd definitely continue the drama, for the sake of the hard work of the actors that I adore and those tiny smiles that didi gives that have me on my knees, and the side cast. Overall, this drama has great great GREAT POTENTIAL, i just hope it doesn't disappoint in the end.

Like if u see the images, especially the ones released today by MGTV, the chemistry between them, the sparks between them are AMAZINGGGG, thats what we want to feel while watching the show as well
