in some ways, i'd say yes, like you'd see the similarities, but as a whole, not at all. The girl ends up living in the guys house but not for the same reasons, you'd be rather surprised when you actually realise why. And then they ML has a younger brother, but unlike in playful kiss where he originally dislikes the FL, here he's running behind her happily from the very first moment. Also, the fact she ends up choosing medicine as a profession eventually is similar to but nothing else is similar, she's intelligent and not running after the guy because she has a crush on him, she develops a crush later on............
