I also didn't attack him/her, if he/she didn't watch the whole show then it's not fair to mislead other watchers by wrong informations, one need to watch the whole show to be able to describe the character in a correct way as some characters will change in different phases in one drama, just like the fl, she is a girl pretending to be a boy so her having two sides is logical and strong point of the script to tell us that she is still a girl after all and has her girlish side, but for sure not like other girls because she proved herself as a strong and capable girl... anyway don't get me wrong i'm not attacking anyone i just don't like when people give wrong description of the story or characters in aby drama while they doni watch the whole thing.
Amazing drama with Amazing complex deep story that will make you curious about the next episode I love jiang Xuening craziness and how toxic red flag she was and then she try to change her destiny with three different men that she seduce all of them in her past and ruined thier life's the loyal friend and the strigh cold man and the crazy toxic man you can imagine how wild this drama, the deep emotion of hate, revenge, friendship and love, and I love how smart she is jiang Xuening one of my favorite female characters in cdrama, at first she trust issue especially she know all the thing that happened in the past,,,simply it's masterpiece, fl is not your damsel in distress, she is given a chance to correct the many wrongs and evil deeds she committed in her first life. The story is confusing at many instances because her past life is show as flashbacks in her present life. However, if you read up a bit or persevere through the confusion, the story is very interesting. The various characters and sub-plots in the series are all interesting too. Overall, I like the brand new approach of the characters of FL and ML as not being entirely innocent people but rather they are realistic, courageous and have no qualms to execute swift judgment on the bad people.
A very entertaining drama, the best republic, gender bender, and military drama, i loved the fl character the most because it's not easy to live with men and pretend to be one of them, and trying not to be caught, also the acting is top notch, if you are new to asian dramas you will never think she is a woman because she is so great as a man lol, the most realistic gender bender i've ever seen.
I'm a big Bai Lu fan, so I've tried to watch this one...but after a few episodes, I've got bored with her character…

It doesn't make sense to watch two or three episodes of a show and immediately judge it. This drama in particular is the kind that gets more exciting as the episodes progress. The first episodes were a little off but the scenario gets deeper and more philosophical and entertaining after each episode especially the mortal realm. So if you really want to watch, you have to be patient and to focus on the small details of the plot to understand the story..otherwise people who can't understand the story will not enjoy it unfortunately.
I loved this drama, the acting is top notch especially episode 23, the actors outdid themselves bravo, I am in love with Bai Lu and her dramas this year.
Finished rewatchin in one night.. truly one of the best political Chinese dramas I’ve seen. Very well written and the acting was phenomenal. I enjoyed that the main characters had a dark side and through that darkness they were able to find the good within themselves, especially JXN she really was serious about changing her life to the best and made a best version of herself. The passionate love between the main characters and how it developed was outstanding, they saw each other for who they truly were and loved each other regardless. It was also refreshing to see strong female characters that were mature, smart yet cunning in a good way and not so childish and helpless. I don’t mind seeing a female character start off innocent and then grow into a mature woman but some dramas just portray the female extremely childish til the end. Not the case with this drama, all the females held strong roles with bold personality. Highly in recommend this drama! 10/10

He was the green flag in this drama and he truly loved her.. but she just considered him as a good friend, i loved their relationship too both as best friends or even they ended as lovers i will support them..
The plot is insane!! so blessed to watch a xianxia with a solid script and refreshing plot, i cried so much but enjoyed every single moment and scene, i love the deep meanings that this drama wants to deliver to audience.. i loved the acting so much and the actors and actresses studied understood their characters so well...it's the best xianxia this year so far for me.
