Detective dramas require patience, but that’s exactly what makes them so rewarding. The slow build ep by ep, hidden clues, and careful storytelling pull you deeper into the mystery until everything finally clicks. The first few episodes are well made and serve as a strong introduction to the story, and this is the kind of genre that only gets better with each episode. The production quality is no joke, everything is top notch, from the visuals to the atmosphere, and the visual feast alone is stunning. As for the acting, everyone delivers, perfectly embodying their characters, as for romance i don't think it's needed here but if there is a slow burn or some hints i will just enjoy it gratefully. Overall, it’s a great start, and I’m genuinely looking forward to what’s next.
One episode in, and the pacing feels spot-on for the theme. High-quality sets and costumes, a really strong start so far. Definitely need to watch more to see how the plot develops.

It's of the same universe as ALP and LI, but if you ask about the main cp relashioship here it's a bit different because they actually fight side by side and protect each other instead of one of them saying i will keep you safe (maybe this happens just in some scenes), but when they fall for each other, they don't really hurt eo, on the contrary they have a healthy relashioship, actually that's what i love about this drama tgat the main cp isn't toxic.
Before I dive any further into this (ep. 3) does this have a HE between Bai Shuo and Fan Yue? and if they do have…
