I think Sand really opened Eiw up a lot comes to how he was in earlier episodes. He really appreciated every good moment they went on and even though Sand is a jealous little peddler he seemed to understand how good of a person Eiw was in the end. Only because I like drama it would be cool if Eiw tried exploring his Sexuality in the three year, hell have him date Sand.

Yeah early episodes Didn't show it enough but Cake is very much dependent on that attention from Eiw. Cake's family also seem to understand how important Cake and Eiw are with eachother. I'm wondering is once they separate if Sand try to be Eiw's actuall friend. I'm super surprised they gave him a character and allowed him to be more than an asshole with Eiw being amazingly open and understanding.
both of these (SCOY and WoY) don't deserve this rating! I really don't understand this site or people who rate…
I guess both shows force people to confront things they tend to ignore. WoY more so the toxic reality dealing with Y series. Honestly this show kinda gives peaks into situations that have happened the past few years with various Actors/managers.
What great end to a story however I feel the plotline of PunNott could handle another episode. Pun is a very compelling protagonist that could've carried a series himself. I love forward to future works from Billyseng. Also that score 7.8 is a crime just like SCOY's score. What a shame.

I'm sad that it's only a guest role I believe. Seeing Seng going from Toh to Pan was a shock. Billy as Nott is just smoker Nuea. Evil Earth needs to be a whole plot. He deserves that much after being characters that are bullied, traumatized, suffering, or sickly.

I'm with you there. Earth in real life has a strong expressive personality. I doubt Eiw will be a character where he can show a bit of that but hopefully in the future he will get the chance. Apparently he show ups as a guest at some point in War of Y. A bit dark but a more mature main character for him would be nice. Santa has been acting as himself so far.

I figured the difference in our takes is definitely how we view the show itself. For me it's a show that's three episodes in that about the two having a coming of age story where I'm under the impression that the issues in the show currently are on purpose and are the main conflict that will make Eiw become more independent and Cake adjusting to this. Like I said before, this will only be bad to me if Eiw remains the same the entire series. SCOY was a series where the main characters are already who they are and have to learn to love themselves and have the confidence to proudly be with their lovers. I absolutely loved that Toh had as much control over the relationship with Nuea than probably Nuea himself even while bei g extremely feminine. It was a standout show that I had very little problems with but it's a different story for 12 pc. I compared SCOY more to Cutie Pie where Kuea was said to be a certain way and acted like it but in the came off meak and infantile to the end of the drama. If Eiw ends up like Kuea then it'd be bad. But I'm willing to let this series show characters develop pass childhood before I put labels on them.

I honestly think since I'm far removed from that Uke-Seme mess I definitely won't see what you're seeing. If you go into these thai dramas seeing this then a lot of them where one of pair is feminine will follow that trope. However you mentioned my favorite show this year so far, SCOY. I will 180% stand with you on that show regarding Toh and Jao. Finally someone seems to understand that show. We'll have different views on this one but nice to see a fellow SCOY scholar.

I see your points as reasonable. I'll see it as differing views since I don't see any of the character interactions falling in cliché archetypes at this moment. These being kids everything I see Eiw do with Cake or vice-versa comes offbas natural and the fainting isn't even a problem to me yet. If these were adults I would definitely feel a bit sour. My only fear is that the shows slow burn will cause any future drama to drag out and make characters become unbearable. I'm aware of the timeskip but it would be unfair to judge my guesses on something that hasn't happened yet. I'm curious how they'll show a jealous Cake and how Eiw deals with it. Cake hates Eiws being upset and since the two apparently never fight Eiw doesn't know how explain his feelings.

I took it he fainted because he was just sick and seems to not be eating good after that. He's treated as " Helpless " only by Eiw and that's only because he spoils him like the older brother also does. He's not even passive with Cake atleast because he regularly talks back but both give into what the other wants constantly. I personally don't like the term uke regarding him in this series because that automatically is putting a near dramatic fetishized label on kid that so far seems to be just a teenager having to find out his world is bigger than just himself and Cake. This is a coming of age story. If Eiw stays like this the entire series I'll 100% back you.
Gosh, seeing the term " Uke " being thrown around so often here is so odd. Eiw comes off as a being really shy and dependent but I never saw it as being reliant on him being some stereotypical feminine gay. He's the youngest and is used to being spoiled by his brother and Cake who he also spends most of his life around. They're young teenages discovering their feelings and themselves and Eiw is the one confronting his feelings first and isn't sure how to react with sharing Cake's affection. At the other side Cake seess it as normal that Eiw is always with him even if he happens to get a girlfriend he'd still cuddle in bed with Eiw while Eiw will back off. I really want to see how Cake will react to someone taking Eiw attention away since the only time he's stopped smiling is when something is happening with Eiw.
We do understand the politics, politics, and the business side. We really do understand.
That's good if some do understand then. Ive seen a lot of people say they are confused by certain situations and actions directly related to that which I took it as why some weren't as keen to it. Well other than the show not being their type. The series just started though so I'm wondering if the quality or style of showing will differ in the other parts. So far this one is very gritty and bleak.
This is a fantastic show but not the usual "escape " people look for in bl. I was wondering why the rating was so low but looking at the comments it seems a lot of people don't understand how much bts politics and business issues goes on with shipped pairings and are getting lost. The lack of test translations hurts too sense once you know what is being said it feel closer to what we see in real life shipping drama. Seng is an fantastic actor with how he left his role from SCOY to this show. I wonder how feel about doing this show while at the same time they are doing some of things this show it critiquing with their fanservice. Also funny that both Billy and Nott seem to focus a lot more on the fanservice aspect while Seng and pun are open to not as much focused.
I'm not quite sure why they added it. Maybe it's to show Nuea's patience with Toh or Toh's childishness?
Yeah. Toh has his stalking and collecting habit but if you notice he himself doesn't think it's a good trait. He knows people would think he's crazy and hides it from Nuea. A lot of these scenes are a build up showing how much Nuea cares for Toh. because we follow Toh we see all his crazy but he doesn't show it to strangers. Nuea is the shameless one.

Going by how accurately this is to the novel I guess it's supposed to be a glimpse into what Nuea actually gets mad over and what he allows Toh to do. The tantrum is something I can see Nuea telling Toh to do it because it's "cute". I hope no one is fooled into thinking Nuea is more normal than Toh. He's on Toh's level with his Toh kink.
Read a bit more of the novel to see what to expect and wow. Nuea is something else. Without spoilers I'll say Toh picked someone perfect for his self esteem alright.
The more I watch this show the more I am sure that opinion - I like that they used fem guys to humanize them because…
You might not have watched the same show or met enough gay people who aren't typical masculine to honestly come up with this. All the characters are comedic from the leads to their love interests but none are just " passive " because they aren't treated like girls. Toh isn't a damsel and neither is Jao or Daisy.
