One of the few dramas that got me cursing and screaming like a crazy person through the scene. Yes, because of you mother in law. It's actually pissed me off so much that i want to stop watching. I hope you die in the end.
It doesn't show in the cover picture because it's edited but FL look so much older than ML despite being the same age... how? She looks like those ajummas who tried to look young by injecting botox, so it looks fake young. Like the kind where you go "yee look slightly younger than your age but i could clearly tell you're 50 years ol-... wait what you're 34!?"
Is it just me or is the SFL face looks stiff and scary? It bewilder me that she was regarded as being very beautiful in the drama. I can't see it, all i can see is uncanny valley. I would run away if i see her at night.

Nah cus i actually love watching old dramas. That's all i watch these days, it's so nostalgic. Horrible hairs and clothing choices aside, I love how natural it was back then, i love the color scheme, how fresh they look without 10 tons of makeup, and no 100 layers of filters. What I can't stand about some of these new dramas are heavy filters and skin smoothening effect that it makes their face almost blurry. Filters are okay as long as it wasn't used excessively.
I grew up watching those old dramas, so i can stomach them no matter how cheesy it gets. But lee gun is just a different breed, he's way too cartoony, even for old dramas. He reminds me of the mask or maybe japanese drama especially if it's a manga adaptation. But then again i hate them too, only because most of them act like they're an anime character rather than a real human. Sure a little bit of silliness is okay, but when they exaggeratedly contorting their face and body in a cartoonish way, i stopped taking it as romance.
I recently watch another drama of her from before 2010 where she is the female lead and had to FF whenever she does that exaggerated facial expression especially her mouth where she pout and does lip bite a lot. You can be expressive without looking annoying, but she just couldn't do it. Even back then, I always thought her acting in BOF was cringy, but i brushed it off since i assumed it was how the character acts not how she potrays it. But then, i'm currently watching another and she has that exact same acting. Idk if it's just her or it was because of old drama's acting's style.

Man i was planning to watch this excitedly because i heard it has a happy ending. But the way you explain it, it's more like bitersweet which is the worst amd worser than sad ending to me lmao. Them separating is way better than that crap of an ending cus at least they could find another person to spend the rest of their life and make baby with. If they find another partner in their respective country then that would be cheating, but then again you could only spend time together for that little of a time in a year (and no communication whatsoever i bet). That shit won't last, unless they were planning to be alone to begin with
I'm still on ep 7 and so far the romance is not believable. In the first few episodes, they professed their deep undying love to each other when they've only meet each other for a total of 4 times and only 2 in good terms and then they're kissing each other. Might seem normal in modern time but not back then, hell even in modern time would you kiss someone you've only met for 2 times? It's going too fast that if you didn't know you would've thought they knew each other for months or years.
And for the brother, i don't see how he's so crazy in love with her. At first he only tried to get close to her because she's hui's lover and he has this obsession of stealing whatever hui's have or loyal to him. But then he grew interested in her because she treated him diffrently than the "typical boring girl" aka he's a creepy masochist.
Basically he's like "Interesting, this is the first time i have been treated coldly by a female. I shall make you mine for none other reason than that and also because you're hui's lover". The more she rejects him, the more he likes it. He likes the struggle and challenge. This type of person will probably abandon the girl after she's no longer interesting. She never treated him kindly, i don't see any reason for him to fall in love with her.
If i ever hear about that poongsan thing being mentioned one more fucking time i'm going to annhiliate both her and the king. I get it she's like a dog that won't let go. It's not like we haven't heard it for the 100th times already. Stfu now

Sorry but i'm not like you who think everyone's beautiful which would render that word useless. I use my eyes to see not my feelings hence why i can diffrentiate between beautiful and ugly. And i don't like how she could get casted as female lead in so many good ROMANCE dramas. She looks like a comedian rather than a romance female lead.
