Yes- finally the hard work of second ML pay off. Which is why the ending was so satisfy . Most of the drama I feel that the second ML work actually harder for FL love but come short because they meet her later or because of some “fated” encounter that FL can not let go of her crush.

Yea a lot of patience is needed with the FL… but it eventually getting better once she is more involve with second ML. Their chemistry were cute. Love both ML💕

Is kind of an old drama but for me one of the best love triangle and most satisfying ending is “ Sound of Desert” . It has a similar master, student love but here the second lead win. 😊

Agree- I found their interaction is very interesting. In this scene is the first time I see A’Sun let his guard down. He always very cautious and have a heavy burden BUT in this scene he was just a Young Man who is crazy in love ?

LOVE The conversation of General LiJing and Asile Sun during the chess match about Sun love interest in ep 31. Sun look like a little Puppy nodding to everything LiJing said. Is so funny ???

@Ness and @ Aya_free. I agree with both of you. XQ said in the earlier episode that “you are my princess, you are not allow to be weak”. I hope she will find her goal to be there to protect her husband. Crossing my fingers ?

I hope that she get back to her normal self too. I understand what she is going through. I think why I was frustrated was seeing how the Empress pull herself together on her on foot after all the live changing events that is far more profound than Awu (rape, loosing all her clans and family, her clan is destroy and she does not have people that love her and protect her around). At the beginning Awu was show much stronger than her. And Awu still experience so much love that she should overcome this situation for the love of the people that still love her.

I know what you mean and can understand why you disagree.
But seeing herself in Qian’er is kind of over-stretching her character to me. She saw how Qian’er and her mother treat other people and behave (which is nothing like her and her Mom). There was an obvious reason why they are in the Capital... and it was not for love like Awu situation in the past. They just did not get what they want and turn to total brat. Awu should see through that from mikes away... But she did not and this frustrated me ?. I would agree with you if she is so kind to the one girl that was originally reserve for Helan Zhan.

I am currently on ep 41 and try to keep my cool BUT what did they do to Awu character????? She was earlier so kick-ass strong, brave and smart. She take initiative in her own hand and can read people and situation around her.. Now she is this sickly Princess and overly kind.... she seems to lost all her “spider senses” and let people using her, betray her and building trap all around her.... and she know nothing . I hope they let her character return to the old self in later episode BECAUSE I really miss it ?

I can totally related to all what you say about this drama. LJK still "haunted" me with his performance and I can get my mind off this drama. Very good review!
