No, she was cool and was even a great mother in law to Jiwon, that's why I was disappointed. It was also weird since Jihyuk mentioned her in one of the episodes.
I disappointed in this series because it was so wildly different from the webtoon (the webtoon wasn't one of my favourite webtoons but I liked it), I just finished it for completion sake and by the last episodes I was just skipping a ton of scenes (especially between Jihyuk and Jiwon, which I liked way more in the webtoon).
I think that Jiwon was dumb and would just cry most of the time and she was rescued by the ml way too many times, but sometimes she would act all cocky (?) then she would get scared again. Jihyuk was a creepy, he had people monitoring Jiwon, then Yura (whatever since she was the villain) but he was constantly with an annoying concerned expression (Also changing the time that Jiwon found out that he got reincarnated too was a huge mistake, it killed the story). Sumin was also stupid, she was so cynical and calculating in the webtoon but in this series she was constantly screaming. Juran was so passive that she was a doormat, also her fashion choices were terrible (why she dressed like a grandma? lol). Mr Lee was actually better than he was in the webtoon because he had a purpose here and wasn't some random optimist guy, but their relationship didn't develop much. Minhwan was a jerk in the webtoon, but I actually liked him here since I'd laugh of his misery lol And the rest of the cast didn't matter much, except Jihyuk's grandpa, his actor had a weird jawline that remember me Angelica Huston too much botox face.

I thought that she was... whatever, she didn't bothered me much. I wasn't satisfied with the story way before she appeared, but, I am disappointed that they didn't add Jihyuk stepmom but added her to the story instead.
Please tell me I'm not the only one who thought it was absolutely ridiculous to see Jiwon walking around in 6-inch…

And, her fashion choice was so out of sync for a work place, she would go with mini skirts and high heels to work, and when she wore that corset top over a long sleeved turtle neck top? And when she went to a wedding dressed in a white suit? (who goes dressed in white to a wedding?) And the school reunion white dress that looked liked a nightgown? lol And the streetwalker outfit that she wore to meet Minhwa's family? (But this time she did on purpose so I could let it slide)

I didn't think that the CGI was that bad though. I have already watched pretty shit shows with shitty special effects. I think that considering that it was a comedy movie and that they didn't have a lot of budget (I am assuming that they didn't lol) it was fine. The grandma helping them at the end was kinda cool though. Also by bad CGI I meant, just look at The King's Daughter.
Did Ji Hyuk fiancée existed in the webtoon? Or in the original webnovel? (I didn't read the novel). Or they just created her for this series? I don't remember this woman in the webtoon at all lol

It's a french movie but it was set in Yoshiwara and had Japanese actors. Also, The Great Happiness space which is a doc about hosts club but is from UK.
Sumin looks so different from the webtoon, even her expressions look a bit different. I know that actors don't wear wigs on live actions but I thought that the would at least curly her hair. I don't how she is in the webnovel though.

If you read the webtoon the ending is really bad, Yumi tried to get together with Babi after their breakup then the author changed his mind and made a time skip and completely ignored them wtf Then Yumi ended up with some random guy near the end. Also the author proved that Babi was cheating her, so I really hope that the 2nd season won't be loyal to the webtoon lol
