I think at first he was curious because of her cheerful disposition. Now he's developing interest in her. If not why was he learning to braid hair at the hospital with his colleague and why did he grabbed her hand at the gate when he drove her home ? He often stares at her a lot. Perhaps they made her look older because agewise, they were casted appropriately. I just feel their romance is developing rather slowly which is understandable because we are only 8 episodes into the drama.
