In my opinion, it doesn't. From my perspective, humans are distinct, and as a result, they desire different things. From a very young age, Cherry sees JQX as a special friend with whom she shares everything, including her pet. Even though she likes her other friends as well but she treats JQX differently. JQX, on the other hand, sees Cherry as the little candle in his pitch-black room. He is a compassionate kid born to replace another kid. He is a substitute child who is not loved for who he is. His parents never told him why he was given his name or what it means. I think the little story JQX told Cherry about his life with his family and the one thing she sees herself in made her want to be closer to him.
When I watch a drama, I try to understand the story and the message it was intended to convey to the audience. Even though it may be lacking in many things, I think it is beautiful in its own way.

Although the rating is low, it is a very interesting drama. One of my favorite moments in the drama was when Cherry gave JQX's name a beautiful meaning. Even as a little girl, she understood the importance of having a meaningful name. Another one was when JQX thought Cherry had left with the taxi cab, but she didn't, and he went on to tell her how he didn't want to be with someone else, but those weren't the exact words Cherry wanted him to say, and he had to say exactly what she wanted to hear him say. At that moment, he seemed so clueless.

All in all, it was a beautiful production.

He was first living with his uncle when he moved to HK. I knew something was going on with his family, but because his mom wanted him far away from the other kids, he didn't share his plan with others. I'm just angry with him for telling Cherry not to forget him. He knew she really cared for him and would take the words to heart and wait for him. He really messed up in my opinion.

I thought I was the only one who noticed that. I believe he has never stopped loving her since they were in high school. Unfortunately, Cherry's heart has been stolen by a cold-hearted young man who doesn't deserve her.
I'm so confused. Why did JQX tell her to wait for him when he knew he was going to ghost her? What sort of person does that? To make matters worse, he stopped communicating with her. Honestly, I want to slap him so bad. He should have simply ended the relationship so that she could move on. Because by telling her not to forget him, he has put her life on hold.

I don't think it was the fear of sex because she was excited. Additionally, YT didn't intend to sleep with her when he said they were going to watch the stars together, as he had already sent her his recording of what they were going to watch before they canceled the trip.

I think what happened to her was a family curse because she didn't do anything different that day except eat the double yoke.

In another K-drama I watched, a kiss turns them into a dog from 12 midnight to 6 AM, and the person they kissed has to kiss the dog back within 90 days for the person to change back to a whole human.

Perhaps we'll find out later what triggers this curse.
