Title Dine with Love Spoiler
I thought that as well. And the bit where he’s imagining her there and asking if she could just be with him…
I think how they both grew up and family orientations have a lot to do with how they do things. One comes from a family where birthdays are a joyous occasion and it is celebrated fondly. However, the other associates his birthday with childhood trauma. I don't blame the FL for not responding when the ML told her to leave mainly because she was shocked by his reaction and tried to figure out what was going on with him and why he didn't want to celebrate his birthday. Remember, she's used to birthdays being celebrated.

Title The Autumn Ballad Spoiler
That was so interesting, and I felt strongly he only bought that jewelry for the sister as an excuse to hang out…
Oh yeah, we would see how the best friends would amicably settle their rivalry or not! I blame the life and death experience LY & QY shared for turning enemies to "lovers".

Title The Autumn Ballad Spoiler
I am really looking forward to the war between the best friends because they are love rivals. QX already thinks his girl is spending too much time with his best friend. LY on his end is buying beautiful jewelry for his proposed bride's sister. The drama is getting interesting.

I haven't had much luck in the forums, so while I wait for the new episodes, someone put me out of my misery and…
Try watching Mirror: A tale of two cities. It has a strong female lead as well.

I prefer Bridgette in a costume drama
She's okay in a costume drama but looks better in a modern drama because of her very strong personality. In this drama, her thinking and personality is way ahead of her time when women are supposed to be passive and just accept everything thrown at them.

I took a break from this hoping for better reviews before going back but I guess I’ll just leave it. I only…
I think you started watching the drama with a made up mindset. I always start every drama/movie with an open mind. The only thing that can make me stop watching is if I can't stand the pettiness/evilness. That gets me more than anything else. So, simplicity is what you need to carry on. All the misunderstandings will be explained by the end of the drama. So, leave your complicated mind behind and continue watching it with the mind of a child and you would enjoy the drama. That's why children can watch the same movie a thousand time and to them it is as if they are watching it for the first time.

But don’t all these parents in Kdramas do that? I mean, they did the same when it was DB wanting to date SR.
I think it depends on where you live and your culture. To DD's father, she's still his little baby. Unfortunately, it is also her first relationship based on the father's knowledge. Perhaps, if she is in her 30s, he would not have reacted so badly. We can also see that DD is not "street smart" either and it added to her father's worries.

Just one this week, and next week too.
That is so annoying when the drama is getting interesting.

So what does Chairman know about Park and Anna it must be something for them both to be acting this way. So what…
You gonna do what you gonna do. Sometimes it is so hard for parents to see their children making mistakes when you know it can be avoided.

I think its a parent thing regardless of culture. Good parents don't see their children as adult but little 5 year olds that cannot make decisions by themselves regardless of the ages of their children. They are used to protecting them and the protecting would not stop even if they are 30.

I am sorry but I cannot bare to stand any of these woman.Fuck yeonshil.Anna,Sara,kija,WanDaeRan. The only likeable…
I understand your frustration, but it is what it is. Human nature is so terrible. The greed, selfishness, short sightedness, pettiness, self-centeredness, obsessiveness, and so on. As long as we are alive, we would see the likes of them in every culture on earth, so its nothing new.

What a waste of time. Portraits Korean women as only finding their worth in marrying a well-off man and being…
Some of us might not be Koreans but through their dramas, we are able to understand their culture either good or bad. Even if it is true love, a good parent should not allow such a relationship because she's too young to have to bear such responsibility. DD's dad was right on that giving her three years to enjoy being young and carefree instead of having so much responsibility as a wife and mother of three at 27.

Why is there a hold on the translation to English for the ep. 12.1 & 12.2? Also, it wasn't aired today "Monday" as well. It's so annoying when the drama is getting interesting!!!

I watched modern dramas with the fl so how is her acting in that one?
The FL has the same unrelenting spirit has she showed in her modern dramas. I just watched Dream Garden and was very happy with her performance.
