Thanks for the review. I had this on my radar for 'one of these days' but you just saved me a ton of time. I can't…
Even though amnesia plots do turn to stupidity when stretched for too long, I didn't want Mingshu to remember her past quickly in this drama because of the sadness it would cause her. Being LM allowed her to be happy, make friends, and create a place to help women in need. Her life as Lu Mingshu was the true meaning of the phrase, "ignorance is bliss."
This is so interesting. My favorite parts were when MT discussed her ideal groom first with her bestie and when she was praying at the temple. Even the emperor was perplexed by her long list. If MT is the fourth sister and Chu is the third, why did the father leave the youngest daughter at home for five years when he was stationed at the border? It's a shame that the daughter who has her mother with her is the wayward one. I was so angry at the inn with what Chu did when she just walked in and bought the ginseng, even though the seller was already making a deal with someone else. Thank goodness she was duped into paying more for something that cost less.
Good insight, my friend. It simply means he's hooked, hence the title, Prisoner of Beauty. I think he got smitten…
Unfortunately, the bad blood between the families is driving them apart. An enemy is in their house, as if they didn't have enough issues driving them apart. Who the hell scratched the box? I guess is the Chu girl who was rejected.
Don't be too hard on her, ma man... It's pointless. That one slap she gave you just sealed your fate in a losing…

This drama is just what the doctor ordered. I'm very much impressed. In my opinion, allies shouldn't be for better, we are friends, for worse, I don't know you. Moreover, this is a battle against a bad guy, not the God of the Israelites. πππ
I skip all his storyline, but why was he smirking during that decree scene?
The man with the mask was from Jianling. He was trying to kill JM. Remember, he came to their house twice, and LC refused to meet with him. He's a snake. Also, by cutting Prince Yu's wings, the emperor is just postponing the inevitable. He would still plot a coup to kill his brother in the future, but if he's reduced to a common man now, his supporters might not go with him anymore.

That's why I'm so upset with the emperor for allowing the evil-minded son of a gun to keep his stupid princely title. Is the emperor stupid, or is he mentally crazy? Prince Yu almost killed his younger brother. LC is still in a coma. That could have been Prince Ru if LC hadn't switched places with him. I'm so furious with this stupid father who raised a monster.
I think the emperor is biased towards Prince Yu. I mean, shouldn't he be stripped of the princely title as a punishment after all the evil he did? Does sending him to the mausoleum or whatever tomb of their ancestors atone for the lives he took? If he were not a prince, wouldn't he have received a death sentence for all his crimes? Talk about double standardπ π π In my opinion, he should be stripped of his title to a commoner and sent to guard the tomb for the rest of his life, or exiled to a faraway land.
If someone regains their memories, and realized that 37 members of their family are no more, would their first…
πππ In the writer's defense, I would say that JM was initially confused and went looking for her father in the rain. Then she remembered that 37 members of her family were killed and that she was the sole survivor. I think that was the end of her mourning for her family members. On the other hand, her lover is still in a coma, so she has completely forgotten that she was injured and sad. So she took up the nursing job. That's my reasoning of the situationπππ
Third couple needs therapy, he probably had his hands in her familyβs murder and tries to manipulate her. She…
I think he's the mastermind, too, because Wei couldn't have done all he did without a powerful person behind him, and I know Wei is one of Prince Yu's people who kill innocent people indiscriminately. I also think ST is just getting along with him to take him down. I won't be surprised if she falls in love with him. I think what changed Prince Yu was the death of his mom. Based on all the scenes, he seems to love his mom a lot, and he associates the handkerchief with her presence and his happy memories with her. It seems he's already in love with ST without realizing it.
Some thought on Su Tangli. Shehas had it much worse than Mingshu. And they did not start their new lives from…
I understand she had it much worse than Mingshu, but what she did was wrong. It would have gotten both of them killed if LC had not arrived. I know she wanted the evidence, but putting someone else's life in danger after LC told her not to force Mingshu to recall her lost memories. Mingshu was lucky that LC was the one who saved her; if not, she might have been dead as well. I think Prince Yu is the mastermind behind the framing of ST's dad, and ST suspects that, too. I felt suspicious of the bodyguard, too, because he has changed loyalties now in ST's favor. I thought ST was going to shoot the arrow when they went hunting, but the episode ended, and in the new episode, ST was dressing the Prince's wound. How did she change from aiming an arrow at him to tending his wounds?
Episode 8. I feel so sad seeing Bunny so hurt. She couldn't hold it in anymore and broke down in front of her mom. Her dad has a good relationship with her, but why didn't he notice she isn't her normal self lately, because she's usually bubbly, but not recently.
She was awesome in A Journey to Love! (One of those rare shows where all the characters grow on you.)
The hundred-eyed demon captured the sister when they visited the village the demons were using the people to build the Sky Pavilion. The Nangong evil-minded human visited the FL's family in the remote place where they were living for an alliance to kill the ML and take over his position.
I just finished episode 2, and from that, I can deduce that the Nangong family is just stupidly killing the demons…
We too. I was wondering why they went crazy. Another crazy thing in the drama was that the fox demon was working for the evil Nangong man, using demon cores to make swords that kill demons. How crazy is that? Is the fox demon stupid or exceptionally confused?

I saw. For a moment, I wanted to slap her because she knew what the Nangong Family did to the Sky Tower clan, which was why the hundred-eyed-demon went crazy on humans, using them to rebuild the Sky Tower. HZ saw the ML make the hundred-eyed pay for his crime against the humans, so why did she join forces with him? Or is it a trap to catch the evil guy off guard?
visually stunning, not sure i understand much of the plot? i mean after watching all 6 episodes i still don't…
I just finished episode 2, and from that, I can deduce that the Nangong family is just stupidly killing the demons to get their core to make a demon-killing sword. The Nangong family killed the clan of Lady Poison in their sky tower. The hundred-eyed demon used humans to rebuild the sky tower for her. The hundred-eyed demon said he didn't do anything wrong when he was dying because he was taking revenge on humans for what the Nangong family did. But the villagers he used to build the sky towers were innocent people. That's my understanding of the issue.

I watched A Journey to Love. She was a badass fighter. She moves with the speed of light and kills without anyone realizing anything. That drama was profound.
A cast of beautiful people. In episode 2, I saw a lot of my favorite people, and that made my day. Even though it's another demon ve human saga, this is the opposite of the Demon Hunter's Romance. Humans are the ones indiscriminately killing demons here for no good reason. The stupid Nangoni (whatever) family is the bad egg among the alliance. Terrible father and son.
