It is such a beautiful drama and an interesting storyline. A drama shouldn't have to follow a novel verbatim. There are a few twists here and there that make it much better. One of my favorite scenes is when Lie returns after Qiluo thinks he is. Their reunion was beautiful, and they stopped denying their feelings. One of the sad moments was when Qimin died. I hated both kings for what they were doing to their people. Especially the king of Yannah. He's genuinely despicable. The king of Beixuan is no less contemptible because of what he did to consort. My question is, why did he marry her forcefully and then treat her with contempt? He took her son from her and sent him to the border to be adopted by a duke guarding the border that the child doesn't even know. The stupid king took their clan's seal, yet he sent her to the cold palace to die. Lie shouldn't;t have come back to save his sorry ass.
All is well; my couple gets to be together in a neutral territory and still take care of their responsibilities. Allis well😁😁😁

I like that episode 7 fully explained the misunderstanding. I thought the disciple killed the master, but MQ did what she had to do to protect her disciple. It is the sister I'm most disappointed with. MQ doesn't even romantically care for the crown prince; her sister knows that. That is a betrayal that goes beyond words. I'm glad that her greed got the better of her in the end. She thought she could steal her sister's years of cultivation just like that.

We can conclude she's a mother from hell. Did you see the little boy's hands when he was doing the laundry, and his so-called mother stood there while her lover beat him for stalking off?
