I think our dumb ass boy learned his lesson. I don't why some men are so stupid before they get the girl. Just like Lin Bu Yin in Love Like the Galaxy, who went on a killing spree a day before his wedding. Stupidity at its finest!!!

Now, the tricking begins between them. Since KN is a nice girl, her mother-in-law could see why her son is so bent on marrying her.
I think the rest of the drama would be how the other single sisters find their match.

I'm on Master Chai's side, too. In my opinion, Chai and KN are birds of the same feathers. When it comes to strategies and scheming, they're no rivals. So, if Chai is toxic, so is KN. Moreover, everything Chai is doing because of KN. How else could someone know so much about a person even before meeting them if he/she has no interest? Before the Li family came to the city, Master Chai knew everything about the famous, beautiful five sisters. But, the third daughter intrigues him the most. So, he targeted her when he kicked the ball on the day they met.

A man is going to do what a man is going to do. Remember, desperate times call for desperate measures. No strong-minded man would let someone else marry the woman he loves. He would fight tooth and nail to the end.
It isn't that he didn't try to change his mother's mind, but the grudge between the moms needs divine intervention. He also knew his mom caused the break in engagement. Do, he had to find a way for his mom that his mom would fix the mess she created, hence his plot to travel to foreign lands. It's his mom who had to let go and issues with the Li family's mom. At the end of this story, we have a wedding. Two down, there are three to go: one widowed daughter and the fourth and the fifth sisters.

I couldn't agree more. After all the scheming and craziness, our boy got his girl. Everything else is water under the bridge.

Episode 9. There is no difference between Master Chai and Mr. Darcy (Pride & Prejudice). He's trying to get the girl, yet he's talking trash about the rumor about her mom. What a dumb ass!!! Then he said, "Your family is your family; you are you. " Someone needs to knock some senses into this guy. Dumb ass!!!

The widow's lament brought tears to my eyes. Unfortunately, a widow like her caused her the pain she tried so hard to forget. I was glad she sent them packing when they returned to ask for KN's hand.

It's a happy ending.

Darcy was more observant, too. But, because the Bennets were not in his social class, he looked down on them.
Chai, on the other hand, seems to know a lot about the Li family, especially the third daughter, because he was able to tell every time which of the Li's daughters did what. Why did he know so much about that family when they were from out of town? Because his cousin was married to the second daughter or because he is intrigued by their fame as the beautiful five Li's daughters?

You know I am sort of upset with both of them. Lie knows the king would never allow him to marry her because she's an outsider. So, why doesn't he want to let her go and keep messing with her?
QL, on the other hand, has no words to describe how upset I am with her. Is she pretending to be in bed with the enemies or foolish? She shouldn't have dined with the enemy regardless of why she's following Lie.
Also, the green snake under the green grass is best friend. The person Lie trusted most in the world turns out to be his #1 enemy, who wants him dead because of a stupid title. He even has a spy in Lie's house.
Is there something still going on with the king's concubine and her ex-lover because they kept giving each other eye signals?

I think the writer and the rest of the team live in a vacuum somewhere in the cosmos. Hence, the senseless script.

This is a beautiful story. At first, I didn't understand Fate. I thought he hated the Saint Emperor. But, later, I reasoned with why he didn't empower the SE as HT wanted because he knew HT wished to use the SE to destroy the world.
It was funny how Pearl and Ling fell in love and how protective the different versions of the SE were of the CP.
One of my favorite characters in the drama was Little Bao. She did an excellent job and was loved by all. Seeing that everyone reincarnated after 10,000 years and found their mates was so funny.

Darcy initially seems stupid, remarking that he doesn't care for women whom other men slighted and refusing to dance with her at their first meeting.
On the other hand, Chai knew the specific characters of the sisters firsthand and could determine that the third sister insulted him and the fifth beat up the men.
I can't wait to see how the girls find their match, too.

Those are precisely my thoughts—the Chinese Pride and Prejudice family. Unfortunately, there is only Mrs. Bennet. The third sister is Elizabeth, and the fifth sister is Lydia. What a funny bunch.

I just saw the deliberate acting of QL turning poor Lie into jelly. I've come to know that spring water has that kind of effect on people. The same thing happened in Melody of the Golden Age. The spring water effect in that drama was beyond words😊😊😊

I think the old lady wants an unblemished young man but the princess scarred him. So, the old lady had to let him go.

I think the Xu clan only cares about the ladies in their family; everyone else is on their own. I was also surprised that the expensive mansion they bought didn't have enough rooms for everyone.
The most surprising thing in that family is that they have no maids. So, the sister does the work, sometimes with the mom's help. That was surprising.
