I never saw it as a bl drama when I was watching it. I just liked how the FL stood up for herself and worked hard to change the family dynamics. Even if she has a male soul and a female body, she didn't do anything inappropriate with her female body. As confused as she was when she got there, she was even going to show the ML her eight pack, but she had totally forgotten that she was now a woman. Perhaps I'm clueless or not as sensitive as the world I'm living in.

I believe the FL is just being real. She knows regardless of how much she loves her son, if his mom is against her being with him, it's going to be hell. She loved him wholeheartedly and planned to be with him forever, but she found out that they were of different statuses. She let go of her pride to take the money. So, taking the money was for her to keep the promise to really break up with him. That's her reasoning to keep her word. You could see how she struggled with her decision. Based on the first episode, they have a beautiful relationship despite their age difference. But she had to pull the plug just like that.
I think the problem here is the mother who destroys her sons' love lives for business alliances. She did it to her first son and is now trying to do the same to her second one. In her thought process, all is well as long as their AL Group is doing well and properly aligned in marriage to companies that would help it grow. Thus, she sacrifices the marital happiness of her children. There are things in life that are worth sacrificing, but I think marital happiness is not one of them because the consequences are dire.

I watched it for both leads. But the end made no sense to me.

I felt confused too. If all the sisters-in-laws are nurses and LSY is the doctor, where is the FL? Despite the confusing ending, it was a very interesting drama.

I was shocked by the rating as well. Only 14 people rated, so why 9.0?

I just watched episode 17 and can only say, "What the heck is going on?" Lu Wen is LMT and also LW's concubine. She left her family business to be the mastermind of a bandit gang. That's badass. You know, some women are born with nine lives. That's one hell of a crazy ambition if you ask me. I don't think she married ZY as husband and wife. I'm confused on that part. Perhaps she used him to achieve her wild ambition. If she had been really ZY's wife when they met with CJ, ZY's reaction would have been out of the roof. Also, since she's the mastermind of the bandit gang, why was she gravely injured and thrown down the cliff by their gang member? P

Episode 11 is not bad. The couple falling in love is nothing compared to getting the Cheewan's mom on board. Even Cheewan is seriously against marriage because of what women had to give up at that time. I don't blame her for reasoning because of what she sees around her.

It is not about beating parse but the culture of the people. In some cultures, irrespective of how old you are, you still get that treatment from your parents. I've seen it a lot in Asian dramas and understood that I couldn't judge other cultures based on my culture.

In this drama, for instance, notice how scared the FL was to go home to meet her parents and tell them that she was no longer getting married. In other places, it's your life and your decision. While in other places, it's not the kids getting married but the in-laws. So, when the couples decide to go their separate ways, it affects both families. So, this is nothing compared to other cultures because once you bring someone home as your life partner, only heaven can separate you.

There were a lot of pairings in this book series, too. We can only blame the writers of these stories for their lack of creativity/

It's all about understanding how one feels. Even though it is easy for some to understand how they feel toward others quickly, some are not so fortunate to discern it readily like that. It is even more interesting when strong-willed people fall in love. You can literally see their Jericho wall collapse like a pack of cards. Love is one of the few things in life you can influence. True feelings cannot be forced or stopped.

It's an interesting drama to watch. The funniest part was when the FL, disguised as a man, mistook the ML for a girl and continued to call him a princess.

I think Venus started having feelings for Nop when he took care of her after her caviar overdoes. In the Noopook story, Anna and Jack also got together after they were drunk and slept together. Perhaps Nop will focus on his new friend who values him and let go of Cheewan.
When Nop and Cheewan were forcefully engaged by their parents., we know Cheewan's mom engineered everything to keep Saruj away from her daughter because she perceived that Saruj and Cheewan were falling in love with each other. Hence her desperate attempt to separate them. It was too painful for Saruj to be around Cheewan, so he moved to the hotel, thinking that the distance between them would help, but all his defenses broke down when they met at the banquet. It was really funny when she used his bathroom and seriously warned him not to attempt to go inside.
