Title Love Next Door Spoiler
Sincerely... In 2024, how thinks that scene of one person beating another is funny? The authors need to review…
It is not about beating parse but the culture of the people. In some cultures, irrespective of how old you are, you still get that treatment from your parents. I've seen it a lot in Asian dramas and understood that I couldn't judge other cultures based on my culture.

In this drama, for instance, notice how scared the FL was to go home to meet her parents and tell them that she was no longer getting married. In other places, it's your life and your decision. While in other places, it's not the kids getting married but the in-laws. So, when the couples decide to go their separate ways, it affects both families. So, this is nothing compared to other cultures because once you bring someone home as your life partner, only heaven can separate you.

Title Dhevaprom: Poncheewan Spoiler
in episode 8 i feel like Poncheewa’s story overtook Cheewan & Saruj’s as the main characters 😢 even tho…
There were a lot of pairings in this book series, too. We can only blame the writers of these stories for their lack of creativity/

It's all about understanding how one feels. Even though it is easy for some to understand how they feel toward others quickly, some are not so fortunate to discern it readily like that. It is even more interesting when strong-willed people fall in love. You can literally see their Jericho wall collapse like a pack of cards. Love is one of the few things in life you can influence. True feelings cannot be forced or stopped.

is it a HE?
What?
The FL is a she pretending to be a he. Based on a misunderstanding of her mom regarding the death of her dad.

Title Dhevaprom: Poncheewan Spoiler
in episode 8 i feel like Poncheewa’s story overtook Cheewan & Saruj’s as the main characters 😢 even tho…
I think Venus started having feelings for Nop when he took care of her after her caviar overdoes. In the Noopook story, Anna and Jack also got together after they were drunk and slept together. Perhaps Nop will focus on his new friend who values him and let go of Cheewan.
When Nop and Cheewan were forcefully engaged by their parents., we know Cheewan's mom engineered everything to keep Saruj away from her daughter because she perceived that Saruj and Cheewan were falling in love with each other. Hence her desperate attempt to separate them. It was too painful for Saruj to be around Cheewan, so he moved to the hotel, thinking that the distance between them would help, but all his defenses broke down when they met at the banquet. It was really funny when she used his bathroom and seriously warned him not to attempt to go inside.

I think we are going to agree or disagree on that. Why is he the only prince who believes that women are trophies that must adorn his palace? If Wenjun was happily engaged to the prince, she wouldn't have asked YDZ to take her away. She would have let him go when she told the other guy they came together to leave.
In historical dramas, being married into the royal is the worst fate for a woman because the price for that life of luxury is always too high. Take "Blossoms in Adversity," for example. Grandma Hua and her best friend married into the royal family. When the empress dowager came to her best friend's funeral, she lamented what she could have had if she had married and lived a simple life.

Remember Wenjun living in the side palace when YDZ accidentally fell into her yard? She's been living there for a while before she encountered YDZ. He was more attracted to the benefits of marrying the daughter of the shadow sect leader. Her beauty is just a bonus. Remember, he was aiming for the throne and well-connected in court, unlike his brother, the ninth prince. He started favoring her after the wedding when he knew her heart was with someone else. She's just one of his women and nothing more. Possession is not love. There is a saying that when you truly love something/someone, you let go, and when it (him/her) comes back to you, it is yours. If it doesn't, it has never been yours. In all the scenes of Wenjun, before she is married in the side palace, she is very sad, saying she feels like a caged bird. She said she tried to escape many times but was caught and brought bad. Shouldn't her happiness mean anything to him?

YDJ was mad because the royal family would never change. They used power to oppress everyone. Mingde didn't pay attention to Wenjun when she was locked up in the side palace where she lived. Not until YDJ wanted his betrothal back did he feel he needed to pay attention to his abandoned property. He already had a couple of consorts then.

I like the drama but i feels judge the author is trying to portrayal yi wen yun is so wrong:woman can be the downfall…
I don't see Wenjun as the cause of everything because she didn't kill YDZ's family with a BS treason crime. She's more of a victim that was used by her father to achieve his goal. She went back to the palace because she was lied to that her son was dying. She did what any loving mother would do. But she left a little child at home to see the other one. At that moment, she wasn't thinking rationally. YDZ went crazy not only because they kept stealing his wife but because the royal family kept taking his family away from him, and he was tired of being at the receiving end. A person can only take so much before all hell breaks loose. So, I think the drama is open to different interpretations based on the viewers 'perceptions.

The late emperor would never have cleared Ye Yun's father because he was the one who wanted him dead in the first place. If you remember the scene where Mr. Li visited him in the palace when the emperor wanted to hold BDJ hostage to get rid of his grandpa as he did to General Ye. If not for Mr. Li, the emperor would have done the same thing to General Bailli. Remember, he used the same stupid Prince Qing when the general was accused of treason. The late emperor was a despicable person who used others to achieve their goal and then got rid of them. He only admitted that he made a mistake in killing General Ye and his whole family when Mr. Li accused him of trying to repeat history by killing General Bailli. So, how would the late emperor clear General Ye's name?
